Blairite non-entities droned on about ‘strategy’ and ‘optics’ for years - as a way of substituting for substantive politics. Sure, that’s bad. Essentially anti-politics. But that doesn’t mean ‘strategy’ & ‘optics’ don’t matter. ‘Bolshevik’ comes from ‘majority’! Optics!

Owen Jones was on @KonstantinKisin @triggerpod podcast. Here they are talking about Pakistani immigrant men being guilty of more sexual offences but Kisin excludes British born Pakistani heritage men in this statistic. I don’t think I’m a virtuous person. We are all sinners, and err everyday. Any left politics built on an aristocracy of virtue, & virtue hoarding, where unbelievers are malevolent, will perennially lose. We have rather a lot of evidence at this point.
