Goodnight from Sadie Clemens, wondering if she’ll have the dream where she’s a crow with a beakful of corpse-flesh again. Goodnight from Joshua Hand, failing to disguise his voice while phoning in a bomb warning on behalf of the Ghost Preservation Society. Goodnight from Hookland

Thank you very much to everyone who came to see me, @TobyHadoke, @aneercs and @MrGeetsRomo discuss Nigel Kneale at @anthonyburgess on a humid Saturday morning for @Headpress’s 35th anniversary celebration yesterday - what a joy! 🚀

Thank you so much for joining us Jac, your research is so fascinating and your paper was brilliant, we could have talked to you all day!!
It was an absolute delight to present and take questions from @HauntedFutures on the subject of haunting, hegemony and anti-fascism. Thank you so much! 👻
Our final panel of Haunted Futures 2025 is our first ever fully online panel, very appropriate for our Haunted Technologies theme! We have papers from Ana Clara Alves, Rhys Handley, Aqsa Eram and Bronte Shiltz.

it was my absolute pleasure to talk about one of my favorite films @HauntedFutures and to use the phrase “Barbie snuffhouse” in my first ever conference presentation 🩸
We were delighted to share the wonderful work of @TheVoidFoxy as part of this year’s conference. Foxy’s film (also titled Haunted Futures!) prompted some really fascinating discussions about digital space and synchronicities!!
Our first panel today saw papers from Jac Lewis and Alaz Okudan — followed by a fascinating discussion about AI, solipsism and Mark Fisher memes!
Finally for today, a beautiful (lycanthropic!) addition to Haunted Futures, from Lissie Carlisle, who brought us all copies of her amazing zine!
Our next panel looks at cinema and spectrality, very appropriate for Haunted Futures @uccfilmstudies! We have papers from @maxbledstein, Weija Zeng and Karen Smith.
