Y’all need to make peace with the fact Wizkid might not like attending Award ceremonies. Wizkid has not attended any Award ceremony since his appearance at The Headies Awards in 2021 and even that event, Headies Organizers had to send a Private Jet to pick him up in Ghana. He has won 6 MOBO Awards and he has never received the award in person on stage, he wasn’t present the night he was the most prestigious music award “Grammy”, he wasn’t present when he won VMA, AMA, SoulTrain, NAACP Awards. Made In Lagos and Essence won over 20 Awards and he was never present to receive any of these Awards in person. It’s not gimmick, that’s who he is or who he has become, make peace with it and leave him alone.
