🚨BANBURY GROOMING GANG JAILED FOR SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF SEVEN CHILDREN Six members of a grooming gang have been jailed after sexually abusing seven girls aged between 13 and 15 in Banbury. Oxford Crown Court heard the victims were lured to parties organised through social media before being abused in cars, woodland and the defendants’ homes. The six defendants, who were convicted in March, received custodial sentences ranging from three to nine years. Ahmed Hassan-Sule, 21, of Glyndebourne Gardens, was sentenced to nine years in prison, with a further five years on licence. He was found guilty of 13 counts of sexual activity with a child and one count of assault by penetration. Takudzwa Hova, 21, of Broughton Road, received six years in prison, with a further four years on licence. He was convicted of rape, sexual activity with a child and two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. He was acquitted of a separate rape charge. Kagiso Manase, 21, of Warwick Road, was jailed for five years after being convicted of three counts of sexual activity with a child, two counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and one count of sexual assault. Mohamed Saleh, 22, of Orchard Way, was sentenced to four years and nine months for two counts of sexual activity with a child. He was acquitted of another count of sexual activity with a child and one count of rape. Said Saleh, 20, also of Orchard Way, received four years for one count of sexual activity with a child. He was found not guilty of a further count. Zsolt Szaltoni, 18, of Portway, was sentenced to three years in a young offenders institution after being convicted of rape. Speaking to the BBC after sentencing, one victim described being attacked in a car after attending a party organised on Facebook. She was 14 at the time. She said she had been left alone after others departed and got into the car because she did not know what else to do. Once inside, she felt frightened and believed the attack had been planned beforehand. The exploitation continued after the party, with more people becoming involved. Looking back, she described how the perpetrators manipulated her into believing she had chosen what was happening. “I thought it was okay, because I was brainwashed,” she said. The abuse came to light after a member of the Kingfisher team, a multi-agency operation tackling child exploitation in Oxfordshire, visited her at school. The survivor said she believed other girls had also suffered abuse and had not come forward. She expressed a wish to work with the Kingfisher team herself, helping children who had experienced similar exploitation and finding a sense of closure through supporting others.
