🚨 VICAR WHO ABUSED A THREE-YEAR-OLD GIRL JAILED FOR NINE YEARS
Gordon Newton, 40, a former Church of England clergyman who worked in Batley, West Yorkshire, has been jailed for nine years and seven months after admitting 12 offences, including six counts of sexually assaulting a girl under 13.
His crimes came to light when his wife handed an old mobile phone to police. Officers found 276 indecent images of children, including 70 in the most serious category. His browsing history also revealed a search suggesting an interest in images involving children younger than three.
Leeds Crown Court heard Newton had confessed to a sexual interest in children over a period of years. His offending devastated his wife, leaving her suffering depression and shattering her religious faith.
Judge Tom Bayliss condemned Newton’s “extremely wicked series of acts”, telling him: “You held yourself out as a man of God but you're nothing. You're a hypocrite.”
The judge said Newton had betrayed the child, his wife, parishioners and church authorities.
Newton, of Huddersfield, was placed on the sex offenders register for life and made subject to a sexual offences prevention order.

It really is utterly abhorrent that @UK_Parliament have mandated a synthetic man made drug with its own patient leaflet in your wheat flour. Folic acid increases the odds of getting cancer fourfold.
This poison and any other ‘fortification’ has to be withdrawn forthwith.

🚨 TORY ELECTION BETTING SCANDAL: THREE HANDED SUSPENDED PRISON SENTENCES!
I’m sure there is a joke I could make about Tory vetting🤔
But do you guys remember the Tory betting scandal before the 2024 general election? Well, three people have been sentenced for cheating.. and the details are pretty shocking, honestly.
👉🏻 Anthony Lee, the Tories former director of campaigning.. got a suspended prison sentence.
👉🏻 Laura Saunders.. his wife and a former Tory candidate.. also got a suspended sentence.
👉🏻 Amy Hind… whose husband was a senior Tory staffer got six months suspended.
Lee and Saunders stood to pocket over £23,000.. and Hind could have walked away with more than £26,000 if all her bets had gone through.
And let’s not forget former Tory MP Craig Williams.. he admitted cheating too and is still waiting to be sentenced.
I mean, honestly.. these weren’t random people having a cheeky flutter. They were people connected to the government and using inside information to try to cash out.
And after all that? Not one of the three is actually going to prison. How am I’m not surprised? 🙄
Makes you wonder what else was going on behind closed doors, doesn’t it? 🤦🏻♀️

Another poll has shown Plaid Cymru’s support slide since the Senedd election.
Beaufort Research found Rhun ap Iorwerth’s party is down two points on 32%, with Reform up 1 to 30%.
This puts Reform within the margin of error of being the largest party.

Just because Kemi got a new speech writer, doesn’t mean The Tories have changed.
I was a lifelong Tory voter until 2019, I wouldn’t trust them again as a party if you paid me.
They flooded this country with millions of migrants, all whilst pretending that they’d do the opposite

UK Cabinet split over rejoining EU – and new referendum. Burnham is planning the ultimate betrayal of the electorate.
As his planned betrayal isn't enough: Burnham plans to hoping to sign a Brexit-reset deal next month which will open the door for under-30s to work and study in Europe.
This is the end of democracy in this country if his betrayal goes though, with or without another referendum.

HMRC has quietly sent hundreds of letters to wealthy people asking them to reveal what they own. Not what they earn or what tax they've paid, but what they own.
Here's what's going on. A unit called the Wealthy Team covers anyone with "incomes of £200,000 or more, or assets equal to or above £2m in any of the last three years". That's about 850,000 people. The letters ask for a meeting to discuss "sources of wealth", "future intentions", trusts, companies, family arrangements and even "significant life events" you expect in the coming years.
It is presented as voluntary, but there's a nudge: "We may still need to carry out compliance checks on your tax returns. However, speaking with you first may help avoid this."
Until now, inspectors have usually only asked about income and earnings. Experts call this a "sea change". One lawyer asked the obvious question: "does HMRC have a right to know what someone owns and not simply that they have paid the right amount of tax?" A tax adviser said: "No other G20 country asks for this level of detail from its taxpayers about what they own."
So what is it for? Advisers suspect it is groundwork for an exit tax, a charge on your wealth for leaving the country. As one put it: "Building that knowledge could indeed be part of moving towards an exit tax."
You don't have to be a billionaire to see the problem.

A ray of heart warming light in these dark days:
I just got a taxi home and the driver was a black Christian from Nigeria. He was a lovely man and just talking to him reminded me why us at #Reform are not ethno nats. He hates Rap music because it celebrates violence and drugs. He came here 12 years ago and can’t believe how our country has deteriorated since then, and despairs because he fled anti Christian persecution back in Nigeria. His views, beliefs and values reminded me of how England used to be and how we need to keep fighting to make it that way again ❤️
