For anyone who missed it, here's Part 1:

I scripted it, made the puppets, and recorded it at home. With generous help from local actors

Short Silent Movie Found
The Film is Fabulous! team have found a short silent movie, made by Edison Studios in a property in the north of England. The film has spent the last sixty years in a dank haven. It is:
The Actress (1913)
Inspired by the amazing Season 21 Collection trailer, I built my own 'Resurrection of the Daleks' prop!
Been a bit of a marmite Dalek, some love the 80's battered look, others not so much (which is fine). That's just how they look to me!
I hear the Season 21 Blu-ray Collection has come under fire for using AI upscaling, but I don't see it. It looks great on my old telly the size of a toaster
I was around 7 when I first saw 'The Caves of Androzani' on UK Gold... But in September I was approached by Chris Thompson to help work on it!
My brief was to sculpt a new Magma Beast puppet, which I fitted with various cable mechanisms. Chris then worked FX magic to blend it in

How appropriate that The Nightmare Begins features the Doctor finding a lost recording - but he'll have to wait a couple of weeks before he gets an opportunity to play it, in Devil's Planet.
All this talk of the Dalek Masterplan eps 1 + 3 returning takes me back...
Moving footage of Kembel! Daleks! A long ol' wait for public release!
Feb 2019, 3 days at UCLAN, operating my own Dalek on a remake of Mission To The Unknown. We all felt like time travellers that week!

the animated version of The Celestial Toymaker is absolutely insane i couldn't be happier with how it turned out
ALT An infinity of Toymakers drinking out of the TARDIS with a silly straw (The Celestial Toymaker, 2024)
ALT The Toymaker opening his mouth to reveal playing cards (The Celestial Toymaker, 2024)
ALT The Toymaker's slaves falling into the abyss (The Celestial Toymaker, 2024)

The fact we live in a world where now 95% of Adrienne Hill's screen time as Katarina exists, it's frankly jaw-dropping. Since the millennium she's gone from 'obscure footnote with only about 2 photos to her name', to a watchable, sympathetic companion again. She's been found

Actor and Film United
Peter Purves, actor, and star of both the recovered episodes of Doctor Who, posses with the original can in which the 16mm film was found, and Film is Fabulous! founder, John Franklin.
In amongst other projects, I've been building the Supreme Dalek from 'The Dalek Masterplan'... Something about the blue and black is so striking!
Could almost be a newly discovered photo from The Celestial Toymaker!
My sculpture of Joey the Clown, photographed on b&w film
First chance I've had to unwrap this since Pandorica. Fixed some glaring errors, more to do but I'm happy with the way it's going...
