Here I break down the concept of the "4Games" (from @JamieCombs) that we all play simultaneously. 🎲✨ Think of it as a unique way to understand not just our actions, but also our deeper motivations and identities. ⊳ Short Game - It's all about the immediate thoughts, emotions, and actions that drive us. It's our here-and-now. ⊳ Mid Game - Dive deeper and you'll see our surroundings, systems, and the gadgets we surround ourselves with. They shape our interactions and responses. ⊳ Long Game - Ever thought about your life's main objectives? That's your long game, plotting your journey to your ultimate goals. ⊳ Deep Game - This is profound! Who are we, really? It's about our core identity and the metaphors that define us. Understanding these "4Games" can significantly elevate our social skills and make small talk way more insightful. Because when you understand the games, you can truly understand the player. If you've ever wondered why we act the way we do or wanted a deeper connection in conversations, this perspective might just be a game-changer for you.
