I’m excited to announce that Arcadia Medicine (@ArcadiaMed) has been approved to start clinical trials in the US for AM-1002, an optimized form of MDMA developed for generalized anxiety. We will be initiating a clinical trial by year end.
A huge thanks to @sama @FEhrsam @zoink as investors.
AM-1002 is a non-racemic form of MDMA designed to be less neuro-/cardio-toxic while being optimizing for maximal therapeutic benefit. We have also been granted one of the only composition-of-matter patents on MDMA.
To top off all of this momentum, we have built a powerhouse team of drug development experts (ex. Janssen, Otsuka, ATAI, Roche, MIT, McKinsey, MAPS/Lykos) to accelerate the first truly scalable entactogen to market.
