Congratulations to Cllr @paularnottLD, leader of East Devon DC, who has been selected to fight for Exmouth & Exeter East πΆ
I've lived across Exeter and East Devon for most of my adult life, so it's a great privilege to be selected to stand to represent the area in Parliament.
I'll be releasing more about my priorities in the coming weeks - watch this space.

Folks - there are local elections this week. They're about local people and local issues - not Westminster.
Handily though, the Tories here too have been the cause of all I of the current issues EDDC has to sort. So quite simply, don't let them back in!

The Govt is ducking scrutiny on their new trade deals because they donβt want to admit just how shoddy they are.
The Australia trade deal alone is hurting UK farmers to the tune of Β£94m and threatens to undermine our food and welfare standards.
Shameful.

We've just won the final vote tonight in the Lords 112-89 so that asylum seekers can work after being here 6 months while waiting for a decision on their application. That's 5 wins out of 5 for Lib Dems and allies against Priti's vicious Bill.
