RIP Patrick Stewart. What an actor. I still can’t believe he agreed to do this scene. And he didn’t even mind when I ruined every take. Legend.

Apparently this struck a nerve, so let me make it even simpler.
A trailer is an advertisement.
If Sony shows me Wolverine and I think the combat, dialogue, art direction or gameplay looks bad, I’m allowed to say that.
I don’t have to spend $70 to unlock the right to have an opinion.
You can LOVE what you’ve seen. I can hate what I’ve seen. Neither one of us has reviewed the game.
But this idea that the customer owes the product a chance is completely backwards.
The product has to earn the customer.
And if your best defense of Wolverine is “just buy it and play it first,” you’re basically doing Sony’s marketing department’s job for free.
Gamers have somehow convinced themselves that you OWE a game your time and money before you’re allowed to say it looks bad.
No. That’s backwards.
Sony showed Wolverine. I watched what THEY chose to sell me on, and I came away less interested.
That’s not “reviewing a game I haven’t played.” That’s being a customer.
Trailers, gameplay, dialogue, art direction and marketing exist specifically so we can decide whether something is worth buying.
If your response to criticism is “JUST SPEND $70 AND PLAY IT FIRST,” you’re basically admitting the marketing failed.
I might play Wolverine someday and love it. Cool. I’ll say that too.
But this idea that consumers aren’t allowed to dislike what they’re being shown until AFTER they pay is fucking ridiculous.
Since when did the customer have to prove themselves to the product?

I’m tired of this dumb argument that you have to PLAY Wolverine before you’re allowed to say it doesn’t appeal to you.
No. Sony’s job is to make me WANT to play it.
The footage, art direction, dialogue, handholding and overall design did the exact opposite.
GameFly existing doesn’t magically make Sony’s marketing failure irrelevant.
You do not have to spend money or time on something before deciding it looks like shit to you as a consumer.

In 2027, fans will celebrate 30 years of one of the '90s most talked-about sci-fi horror films — Event Horizon.
Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. Laurence Fishburne plays Captain Miller, Sam Neill as Dr. Weir.
A rescue crew is sent to recover the Event Horizon, a spaceship that vanished without trace and has now reappeared. Its gravity drive was built to fold space. Where it actually went is something the ship was never meant to bring back.

SLASHER TRASH | Assembly Cut Feedback 🔪🩸
A selection of around 300 backers got to see an assembly cut of SLASHER TRASH: THE ULTIMATE SLASHER DOCUMENTARY, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
One backer, Michael, said it "Absofuckinglutely lives up to the hype!"
A different Michael (not Myers) said: "10 out of 10. If it was out of 100, I'd give it 100 out of 100."
Erin said: "I immediately started it over again. There is just so much info to cover."
So far, so good – but the pursuit of perfection continues. We're working around the clock to make this even BETTER!
