What's funnier is that XCom 2 specifically had the hit chances skewed in favor of the player. So 95% chance to hit is actually more than that. It's only on the Highest difficulty (Legendary) where the hit chances are exactly what they say it is.

Whenever an Xcom game says you have x amount of chance to hit, its actually not that percentage i did the math and the actual percentage comes out to 50% you either hit or you dont
