Growing up a BYU fan, Cade Uluave didn’t see playing for the Cougs in his future. An accident his senior year in high school threatened his college football career. But holding onto his faith brought hope and healing in ways he couldn’t have foreseen…including playing for his favorite team.

"If I have a wish for you, it is that you find peace in your actual life — not the life you think you would have if you were able to finish your to-do list, have three extra hours in a day, and finally achieve your goals. My wish is that you and I might slow down and turn more easily and comfortingly to Christ, and bask in His promised peace." - Elder Patrick Kearon #BYUDevo

You say you post this out of love, but you chose a grieving family’s rawest moment to publish your theological indictment of the man they just lost. Love that expresses itself by using a man’s death as an occasion to broadcast that he died deceived is not love in any form Christ would recognize. Something deep down in your heart needs everything to be about you. I have a feeling this is a character flaw those close to you have brought up before. Paul wrote what love actually looks like: it “suffereth long, and is kind… seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked” and “doth not behave itself unseemly” (1 Corinthians 13:4–5). Standing over a fresh grave to remind everyone why YOU are “more determined” in YOUR opposition is the definition of behaving unseemly. Jesus’ sharpest words for self-proclaimed religious experts who were confident they alone held the truth and saw others the way you see this man (Luke 18:9–14). “Judge not, that ye be not judged” (Matthew 7:1) came from the same mouth you’re quoting. So did “by their fruits ye shall know them” (Matthew 7:16) — and the fruit of your post are hurting friends and family made to feel their loved one is a cautionary tale only you are courageous enough to tell. You frame silence as the real cruelty. You do not know the Bible. There is a time for everything, including “a time to keep silence” (Ecclesiastes 3:7). Job’s friends did their real damage not just by being wrong about theology, but by lecturing a suffering man about doctrine. “To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend” (Job 6:14). Like them, you have knowledge without wisdom. Have there been times your life, pastor, in which your wife or your children have not responded well when you cared “too much” to stay quiet? Take time to reflect on their unspoken pain. Paul teaches that the loving thing is to actually be quiet — to mourn with those that mourn (Romans 12:15), not to preach at them before they’ve chosen a casket.

Saw this from Huang RE: AI's effects on jobs, and I can't stop thinking about it: “You’re not going to lose your job to an AI, but you’re going to lose your job to someone who uses AI.” What's YOUR story with AI? Does that jive? finance.yahoo.com/news/nvidi…

Last night, my 17 year old daughter looked at me and said, “I wish they taught us more about motherhood in Young Women. Isn’t that the most important thing we’ll ever do?” I can’t even express how much I love her. She is wise beyond her years and understands what many take a long time to learn.

Stock images. Can we stop already? I have NEVER seen behavior like this IRL: sterile living room, loving wife with her arm around me watching some nature show on TV while the kids doomscroll alongside us. Stop it! #marketing

and secondly, this article? The reason people subscribe to TV is... TV? I get you're trying to promote LIVE programming as a way forward. But really? That's not groundbreaking by any stretch.

I.Hate.Taxes. I have to figure out a way to work more so I can pay the taxes I owe for 2025. But that income will be taxed, so I'll have to work more to pay for the extra money I'll earn to pay the taxes I'll have to pay on that money. And so one and so forth. What are we doing?

"Death comes for us all. That's all I know for sure. The question isn't are you prepared to die, the question is who will you be when you close your eyes?" Magneto, Avengers: Doomsday (2026) THAT, my friend, is a question only answered by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. #easter

What does this even MEAN?!?!?! Sales people, do better with AI. Please. "Many telcos use {insert product} to increase ARPU through bundled TV, premium add-ons, and hybrid monetization models while reducing churn with a fully branded multiscreen experience."

The Mormon Church makes no sense. Teenagers teach doctrine to rooms full of adults. Regular people are called to lead without training, ambition, or credentials. A global church runs on unpaid service and quiet obedience instead of professionals and polish. None of this is how institutions are supposed to work. It’s inefficient. It’s risky. It looks almost careless. And yet it holds together. Not because of charisma or systems or control, but because people show up and do what they’re asked. If this were built by humans alone, it would have failed long ago. The only reason it hasn’t is if God really is willing to trust imperfect people with His work.

A question for anti-ICE protestors and their supporters because I'm trying to understand your viewpoint. What is the federal gov't supposed to do? As I understand it, they know of individuals who are illegally in the US. Why do you want them to just leave them alone ? – at St George, UT

Mark is one of the Few who get it. There's a lack of institutional leadership at the NCAA, and it's affecting all of collegiate athletics. – at St George, UT
Mark Few’s reaction to the recent trend of G-League players/NBA Draft picks joining college teams: “Our lack of leadership has really shown. Now it’s probably time to get some help from congress but they’re more screwed up than the NCAA. They’ve got to start listening to coaches.”

THIS. What many people who don't follow @BYUfootball fail to understand is that there are those who still hold a grudge against the Cougars for what they did to their good ole boys organization. Ironically, the injustice of the CFP came as a result of what BYU did and keeps doing – at St George, UT
How 96’ BYU CHANGED College Football (and why the CFP hates them still)….. It’s 1996 and BYU just won the WAC Title game over 10 win (and #20 final ranked) Wyoming. They became the 1st Div I college football team to play 14 games in a scheduled regular season. They are 13-1 and ranked #5 heading into the bowl season. All projections are for them to make the Fiesta Bowl with LaVell Edwards being flown out for the selection ceremony. However, BYU gets shafted by the Bowl Alliance and is put into the Cotton Bowl to play against KSU. BYU would win the game 19-15 to cap off a 14-1 season. BYU files a lawsuit against the Alliance Committee and a US Congressional hearing takes place. Corruption, money and not letting the “Little Guys” get a fair shot against top teams are at the forefront. This all leads to the BCS playoff system and later CFP format. BYUs lawsuit led to a new era where other schools like Utah, Boise State and TCU would get their share at the “Big Boys” table by upsetting the top schools in their respective NY6 Bowl Games. I think the Committee is doing BYU dirty for what they did to them in 96’ and for winning the 84’ national title. Ofc, we can’t forget 01’ BYU entered their last game against Hawaii with a 12-0 record AND were told prior to kickoff they weren’t invited to ANY BCS games. #BYUFootball #Big12FB
