DeSantis on Congressional Republicans:
“Why haven’t we done immigration? Shut off H1-B visas! Why haven’t we codified Trump’s immigration executive orders? Why haven’t we stripped jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases? There’s so many things that could have been done, they didn’t even attempt it!”.
New Congress. Same mission: deliver for those who serve.
In my latest CU Today op-ed, I share why I’m optimistic about the opportunity ahead and why credit unions need to help shape the conversation from the start.
As I write: “Every lawmaker represents people who need a reliable financial partner. We should give every lawmaker a chance to help them.”
At the @DCUC_HQ, we are committed to building relationships across party lines and turning our members’ experiences into meaningful action. That means expanding access to business loans for veterans, defending the credit union tax exemption, and explaining how interchange mandates and blanket interest rate caps could affect the families we serve.
For a veteran building a business, a military spouse managing a deployment, or a family preparing for another move, these decisions have real consequences.
My message to credit union leaders: Get involved early. Invite lawmakers to see your work. Share the challenges your members face. Help us turn those conversations into lasting relationships—and those relationships into results.
I’m ready to keep showing up, building support, and pressing for progress.
Serving ALL Who Serve.

What is often overlooked is the vital role @EximBankUS plays for manufacturers in rural parts of America like North Dakota.
If the @EximBankUS authorization expires, it will set us back a long way. Without the ability to finance these critical exports, it means adversaries like China may get that business. My long-term reauthorization will give small manufacturers a competitive edge and provide certainty for years to come.

Stephen A. Smith: "If I'm Jerry Jones, I call ESPN right now trying to pluck Rex Ryan from this job…with four days preparation, that man will do a better job."
Michael Irvin: "My dead mom can coach them better"
That is one of the most embarrassing losses in Dallas Cowboys franchise history.
Brian Schottenheimer is so in over his head. He is directly responsible for this team's misgivings against Arizona, this season, and across his entire tenure.
They go nowhere with him.

Fire that dumb fuck Brian Schottenheimer sooner than later. That man would not be allowed to call plays for a single other team in the NFL

Dem MI Rep Stevens: Rep. Haley Stevens, (D) Michigan: [12:42:09] Abdul made very clear that I was not welcome in his campaign, that he didn't need me there, that he didn't want me there. And at some point, you got to look at who's standing for country. You know, there's always a lot of elections taking place in America, and this is one I'm going to cast my ballot…My vote for Senate is going to be with Mike Rogers. And I will tell you why. Because we have to stand with country. We can't stand with hate. We can't stand with Hasan Piker.

Arlington National Cemetery is filled with 400,000 reasons why our right to vote came at a heavy price.
Go vote.
