Just saw the #Jimmy movie! We loved it. The movie is a lovely tribute to an American icon. The film was very “Capraesque” and actually felt like an old time movie. It was sweet and kind, patriotic and filled with nostalgia. KJ Apa was fantastic as Jimmy Stewart.

If you a millenial who loved The Next Generation and miss Patrick Stewart, I highly recommend watching Picard season 3.
I saw it years ago and it's the proper ending this crew deserves. Very grateful to @TerryMatalas and folks for making it.
You don't need to watch season 1 and 2, just go straight to season 3.

This was the moment I had dream of, the moment I had feared. Patrick Stewart walking onto the bridge of the USS Enterprise that I had recreated. Would he hate it would he love it. What would this moment feel like. For months we agonized over every detail, then the moment came and he walked onto the bridge and moved to the chair that had helped define his career and he sat down. I clicked the shot as that smile fell over his face. This is how I will remember him. Such an honor to have had the opportunity to work with such an extraordinary individual. He will be greatly missed.

If you haven't had the chance. Listen to his autobiography on audiobook as he narrates it himself. I listened to it on one long roadtrip during a very challenging time and it's truly a gift.

Today, more than ever before, I have to say how glad I am that we got season 3 of #StarTrekPicard, getting my favourite crew back together, just like in the beginning, and helping to overcome the trauma caused by Data's death in "Star Trek: Nemesis". I'm happy this was all resolved!🖖

It's been a terrible week. Sir Patrick Stewart, who portrayed Captain Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation, has died. He was 86. hollywoodreporter.com/movies…

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.

TWO?!? IN A WEEK? Rest in Peace, Captain. I had so much fun with you on both sets of X2 and the hours we spent talking for the TNG Blu-rays. You were so gracious with me and you were very complimentary of all the interviews we did. May your journey to the Final Frontier be revelatory. deadline.com/2026/10/patrick…
Saddened to hear of Patrick Stewart’s passing into the final frontier. But what a legacy. Next Generation was my Trek growing up. I am so grateful @terrymatalas reassembled the crew one last time. Farewell, Captain Picard.

This past Friday, my GF had a doctor’s appointment in Dallas, TX. Little did I realize it was right across from the Cinemark Plano where I did my past Star Wars marathons.📽️😱
We saw Clayface- it was mostly good.👌
I had to explain DC vs. Marvel to her. Yes, I’m such a nerd.🤦🏻♂️

Chris Rock just nailed one of the biggest problems with wokeness.
Helping people who feel marginalized is good. He says so himself. The trouble starts when a good cause becomes an institution.
The first few witches were real. Then you open a witch office. Now there are salaries, budgets and pensions to justify, and the office needs a steady supply of witches to keep existing.
That’s the trap. Once a cause becomes a career, solving the problem means losing your job. So the problem never gets solved. It just keeps getting redefined.
A system built to find wrongdoing will keep finding it, whether it’s there or not.
RT @thechosentv: This is it. We’re at the toughest part. Season Six covers the 24 hours of the events surrounding Jesus’ death.
