Did you know that Mike Trout (2012-13) and Willie (1957-58) stand alone as the only players in Major League history with multiple seasons of at least a .320 batting average, 25 home runs and 30 stolen bases?

Being coachable means staying open to learning, embracing feedback, and always looking for ways to get better. Even the greatest players know there’s always more to learn.
Willie's legacy reminds us that greatness isn’t just about talent — it’s about the willingness to grow.

Willie Mays gave so much of himself to baseball that saying goodbye brought him to tears.
His words are a reminder of how deeply he loved the game—and how much it meant to spend his life playing it. 🧡🖤

Kelsie Whitmore didn’t wait for someone to tell her she belonged. She believed she did.
She kept playing baseball, stayed true to herself, and kept chasing the game she loved.

A milestone worth celebrating.
In 2026, the Golden State Valkyries, who are playing in the WNBA Finals, became the first women’s professional sports team to surpass $100 million in annual revenue, a powerful sign of the growth and momentum behind women’s sports. #SeeHerBeHer

Three was a magic number for Willie.
Mays is one of 33 members of the 3,000-hit club, but he's the only player in MLB history with at least 3,000 hits, a .300 average, 300 home runs and 300 stolen bases.

Happy International Day of the Girl! There’s power in a girl seeing what’s possible. Here’s to girls dreaming a little bigger, playing a little harder & continuing to push the goal line forward. The future of sports is brighter when every girl has the chance to see herself in it.

What a first season of professional baseball for Ashton Lansdell.
The Los Angeles Queens captain hit .477 with 4 home runs, 14 RBI and 21 hits during the regular season, putting together one of the league’s best performances at the plate.

Willie had at least one hit in 15 All-Star Games, and Stan Musial (14) is the only other player with a hit in more than 11 All-Star Games. Mays' 23 overall hits are the most in All-Star Game history!

Willie’s greatness extended far beyond his ability on the field. He generously shared his knowledge with teammates and younger players, helping others find success — that willingness to lift up those around him remains an important part of the Say Hey Kid’s enduring legacy.

There’s a lot to be proud of in women’s sports right now. New leagues, bigger stages, record-breaking moments, and more women competing at the highest level.
The pressure is a reflection of the progress. And there’s only more to come.
