Jacksonville issued a mandate to cut our wasteful budget immediately. I am calling for @MayorDeegan and the Council to: End all cash giveaways to developers. Cut salaries for all City employees making more than $100,000/year. Eliminate the Downtown Investment Authority/Downtown Vision. Cut the Mayor and Mayor’s staff salaries and the Council salaries. Put all this money into a fund for police/fire/roads/trash. It’s a start.
