When civilians stand up to terrorists on the West Bank, the police arrest the civilians. And the U.S. is complicit.
Hi, I'm free.
Beat up but fine. Police stole my phone. Settlers punched me in the face several times, likely broke @AdeleShoko's wrist and gave @the_andrey_x a concussion. They threatened to shoot us with an assault rifle over and over.
Will tell the full story later, but for now, I just want to be clear about what happened. We witnessed two settlers locking a military gate in Umm al-Khair, blocking the only way to more than twenty Palestinian communities: trapping families inside, preventing students from reaching school and workers from their jobs, blocking delivery of food and access to ambulances, etc.
It's a crime that the military has this ability at all--but last night, we discovered that random settler terrorists also have the key. We confronted them and began asking questions on camera, and they nearly murdered us for it. When the police finally arrived, they arrested Andrey and me and charged us with assault.
The gate is still locked.
Shoutout to the Market St Safety Ambassador in a red vest fist bumping everyone coming out of Montgomery MUNI/BART station this morning. Absolutely needed that energy. π π€ π€ π

Itβs pretty wild how the media feels a need to knock Democrats to get a wink and nod from Republicans by running utterly ridiculous stories about the Cheesecake Factory and the Other Dan Sullivan and Haley Stevenβs boyfriend. It never ends with the sanctimoniousness.

I cannot stress enough that this behavior ought to be utterly disqualifying for any future office or role in the Democratic Party

Stevens, cont'd.: "But I will be honest: There are a lot of voters in Michigan ... they are still undecided and they are hurt and they are confused. And this is why I think our nominee is in a very strong position to denounce the hateful ads that have hurt people." #MISEN

Iβve been in this fight my whole life.
Donβt ever let them make you feel powerless. When working people stand together, thereβs nothing we canβt do.
Today is the last day to vote early. Letβs go win this thing, Maine.

Iβm voting for Abdul as well. Your post is powerful and refreshing a clear expression of your faith, your values, and your independent judgment. Would you share what earned him your support? Iβd welcome hearing which policies, experiences, or qualities shaped your decision. Thank you for speaking with such conviction. @AbdulElSayed
I am a Jew. Raised two smart, compassionate Jewish kids. Belonged to synagogues most of my life, sent my kids to Torah school & Jewish camps. Made our house the holiday house. Devoted my life as much as possible to Tikkun Olam.
I FULLY SUPPORT @AbdulElSayedHQ @AbdulElSayed

I donβt decide my votes on what my friends are doing with their votes, and I certainly donβt decide my votes on what their significant others are doing. Neither should you. Your vote is your vote and it should be your conscience voting. And if I lived in MI, Iβd be voting for @AbdulElSayed
This is toxic, anti-Semitic, vile sludge.
And will get a fraction of the coverage in the media than someone who says they donβt want Palestinian children to be indiscriminately killed.
(Meidaite) Republican Senator Says Non-Christians Are Unfit for Senate: "Should Be Nowhere Near Washington"

.@KeishaBottoms: Rick Jackson has made it clear that his number one priority will be to do whatever his big daddy Donald Trump tells him to do. He stood next to him on stage so they could project what they believe the future of Georgia should be. 2 out of touch billionaires who want to keep getting rich off the backs of taxpayers.

If you think the way to fight anti-semitism is to cozy up to the GOP as it openly embraces actual Nazis, I would say that you have not thought this through.
Depicting Jewish concerns over anti-Semitism as "prioritizing a personal grievance" is a pretty good explanation for why so many Michigan Jews are voting for Rogers.
When Democrats make clear they don't care about Jewish fears of anti-Semitism, and they don't believe that Democratic candidates who have used anti-Semitic tropes and campaigned with anti-Semites have a responsibility to reassure Jewish voters, they are saying the quiet part out loud: they simply don't care about Jewish safety and security.

Arab-American #Michigan voter here:
Can everyone stop trying to divide Michigan's Arab & Jewish populations for electoral purposes?
We grew up together. We are neighbors, friends, co-workers. We care about each other.
If this doesn't stop, no matter who wins, we all lose.

Iβm going to suspend my low expectations and express hope that every traditional opponent of bigotry in America, including the @ADL, will unite to condemn this crude, explicit & out of control anti-Muslim rhetoric from senior GOP leaders, which threatens every minority faith.
