Hey everyone , check out @jgray78 article on some thoughts I have on just one way policing can and does cause unintended harm. Thanks to Jeremy for giving me a broader reach on this. Looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts.
Thanks to retired #Birmingham West Precinct captain @Jerry5Wiley for sharing his thoughts. He illustrates his theory through the story of a single mother with an expired tag and no insurance who is stopped for speeding. al.com/opinion/2021/03/traff…

It’s an example. A metaphor. Sometimes you take a job, not because you like it , or it pays enough. You take the fucking shitty job because it pays more than not having a job.
You learn everything you can while working that job, in hope of maybe being promoted or preparing for your next job.
Or you sit on your ass. Collect unemployment as long as you can and do whatever.
We all make choices.
Some people are willing to grind. Some are not.
Just the way it is.

Tubs is a racist, incompetent and used ChatGPT to write his policy statement recently. He has not a thought in his head that's useful or good.

Look, down years are inevitable even for teams like Bama and some programs have down decades...Ohio State has only lost more than 2 games in a season 3 times since 2002 and won 3 nattys and played for 6 in those 25 seasons....I get it, but put some perspective on things 🤷♂️
Can’t disagree with any of this.
Ryan Day isn’t the same coach he was as OC under Urban Meyer or early in his head coaching tenure. He’s become extremely conservative and overly reliant on NFL concepts.
Pairing that with Arthur Smith leaves a lack of creativity and urgency on offense.
Ohio State has had only one OC under Day that people would consider a rockstar playcaller: Chip Kelly. He pushed the boundaries.
At a place like Ohio State with more talent and resources than 99% of the teams it faces, being overly conservative doesn’t mesh. They don’t force opponents to play on their terms despite those advantages.
This program is one Nick Marsh footstep away from being 5-5 over its last 10 games, with Iowa as the signature win.

100 days until Mardi Gras 2027! Is there anything better than Carnival time in New Orleans? The parades, the traditions, the marching bands and dance krewes and all that purple, green and gold. There’s nothing quite like it. 💜💛💚 #CarnivalCountdown #MardiGras #NewOrleans

Nobody is advocating for communism. Not one person, not one candidate, NOBODY.
Communism is just a term that MAGA throws around, to scare uneducated people.

A year ago, I left myself a reminder to revisit something the Trump administration did during the government shutdown: freeze food assistance for millions of Americans, despite having emergency funds available. So much has happened since that it's easy to forget. That's why I wrote this. We need to remember. joycevance.substack.com/p/a-…

Here’s a story for you. We started filming without owning the title and had to do alternates.
Taft Broadcasting owned the title Ghostbusters as part of their half-hour sitcom starring Larry Storch and Forrest Tucker (F-Troop) and a gorilla chasing ghosts. I had never heard of it. They didn’t have proton packs or Bill Murray. Columbia paid $500,000 to buy the name, but they really should have paid Dean Martin, from whom I first heard the term.
In the film Scared Stiff (1953), he and Jerry Lewis (check out his acrobatic stair descent) are in an old haunted castle, and Lizabeth Scott asks Dean: “Who are you guys?” And Dean answers: “You’ve heard of Trustbusters and Gangbusters, we’re Ghostbusters!”
For my research writing the first movie, I watched every single ‘ghost’ comedy ever made. Bowery Boys, Hope and Crosby, Abbot and Costello, Martin and Lewis all did such films.
Happy Halloween 2026.

Slow ass offense never gets it done. 4 losses we tried to “ control “ the clock. What happened to the up tempo offenses that went a scored 40+ weekly. Ryan day let Michigan scare him away from high flying spread offenses. @ryandaytime you are such a pussy

Dear MAGA, since you're always asking me, "What laws has Trump violated. Be specific."
HERE IS A COMPREHENSIVE LIST
1) The Principle of Non-refoulement is an international law prohibiting a state from returning a person to a place where they would face a real risk of persecution, torture, or other serious harm.
SEE - 1967 Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees, which the U.S ratified in 1968.

Memories are short. I made a note on my calendar to repost this today. This is what was going on a year ago. Good to remember as people vote.

A lot is happening right now. Make a note to yourself to remember, heading into the midterm elections in a year, that GOP senators & reps asking you to vote for them were willing to starve their constituents—your friends, family, maybe even you—for Trump.
No comment on the 2 play TD drive. But I don’t like what I see on offense. Day is going to his “shorten the game strategy”. Taking the entire play clock to snap the ball on offense. If we get down 2 scores it’s over. #GoBucks

And young alabamians let me tell y'all something tell your mama and daddy who thinking about voting for Tommy tuberville that he's threatening to take away their social security make them understand he is not the choice for this state
You can say it… I’ve been telling everyone, there will not be a blue wave…disappointingly.
I am deeply troubled by what our forecasting model is showing. I have reviewed the numbers seven times, and each time the implications become more disturbing. I now face an ethical dilemma of considerable magnitude: whether the public has a right to information it may not be emotionally equipped to process.
Can someone remind me why we let Chip Kelly out of the building? @OhioStateFB

I’ve been saying for weeks that Chris Henry Jr. needs more opportunities in this offense. The talent is simply too good to keep on the sidelines. With Ohio State heading into USC tonight, I’d love nothing more than to see this kid have his breakout moment on one of the biggest stages of the season.
Let the young man EAT. #GoBucks🌰
