That’s not an argument. Any taxation is NOT a donation. Therefore, it is under the threat of force that I pay. If I don’t pay, men will come to imprison me on a long enough timeline. If I resist hard enough, I will be shot. Taxation should be used for universal goods. Roads, electricity, potable water, defense, etc. Paying for disabilities is not a universal good.

Unhealthy people should be happy that healthy people have more than $30. It’s how unhealthy people can pay for their treatment. It’s not like St Jude has a money tree they can just go and collect money from.

I have worked with people who have gotten shot peen in their eye and not reported it out of fear of being fired. I have worked on the wiz blade line of a slaughter house with the illiterate. I have worked at McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, and Walmart. I’ve also worked with people who make north of 500k per year specializing in power plant SCADAs, and am friends with doctors, lawyers, physicists who graduated from West Point, and electrical engineers. I’ve been literally homeless, and have purchased a 2400sq ft brick ranch with a 1200 sq ft detached garage, (also brick). Your ego is overinflated, and you are wrong.

Observe. Home repairs are minor. 15 minutes. I worked 6 weeks straight, and if not for a catastrophic error, it would’ve been a minimum of 8 weeks. And when I’m off, and nothing is broken, and the lawn is already mowed automatically, then what? I get to do whatever the fuck I want that doesn’t break my vows, that’s what. A woman literally doesn’t know how to respond when the man she loves just tells her, “I don’t care what you think. So be quiet, and stop trying to judge me into compliance.” Their brain shuts down.
