Today is the day of the Jesus Revolution Baptism at Pirate’s Cove in Newport Beach!
It all starts at 8:00 AM.
This is going to be a historic event for Harvest, where many will be baptized today.
Over 3802 have registered to be baptized today.
You have seen it in the Jesus Revolution movie.
We are going to that exact spot today.
Why is baptism important?
Let’s start with Jesus. He Himself set the example by being baptized by his cousin John.
Jesus, in His Great Commission told us to “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matt. 28)
On the day of Pentecost, after he had preached and led 3000 people to Christ, the Bible says “Those who believed were baptized and added to the Church the same day, about 3000 in all”.(Acts 2:41)
The Apostle Paul compared baptism to a watery grave, telling us we “Died and were buried with Him through Baptism. . .so we may live a new life”(Rom.6:4)
If baptism is like a funeral, it’s the happiest funeral you have ever been to!
There are really 2 conditions to be baptized.
You must believe in Jesus and Repent of your sins.
#1 You must believe in Jesus.
There was a man visiting Israel from Ethiopia who heard the Gospel from Philip the Evangelist.
After believing in Jesus he asked, “Look, here’s some water. Why can’t I be baptized?
Philip answered, If you believe with all your heart. And that man replied, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God!”. Philip then baptized him.
To believe means to put your full trust in Christ and Christ alone to save you.
#2 You must repent of your sins.
Again, on the day of Pentecost, Peter told the people, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins”. (Acts 2:38)
To repent means to be sorry for and to turn from your sins.
So, if you can, join us for this very special day at Pirate’s Cove.

A PRAYER FOR REVIVAL & AWAKENING
💧Thousands being baptized TODAY at Pirates Cove in California. @evangelistmatt sent this vid to me. Wanted to find the right words.
🙏 Lord Jesus, YOU alone are WORTHY to receive unceasing adoration and worship for YOU alone are the REVIVER.
Would you revive the church and awaken this nation. May many be baptized in the power of the Holy Spirit in this hour.
It is time for the church to return to first love & for its leaders to walk in purity, humility, & power.
Celebrity Christianity must die and Consecrated Christianity must rise.
So I pray the words of @mkoulianos
🩸You who need your sin washed away, come to the Savior.
🩸You need your sick body healed, come to the Healer.
🩸You who are unknown, be counted with the Servant.
🩸You who are lost, cling to the shepherd.
🩸You who are addicted, be rescued by the warrior.
🩸You who are lonely, find this faithful friend.
🩸You are suffering, and don’t know why, meet the sufferer.
🩸You are a need, The provider has not changed.
🩸You have been rejected by all, discover the outcast.
🩸You who lack the power of God, the baptizer awaits you.
🩸You who fear the world and its future, trust this king.
🩸You can escape the pull of God on your heart, pause for the seeker.
🩸You know there must be more to Christianity, release the prisoner.
🩸 You who have lived for yourself for too long, surrender to the Lord.
🩸You have stare at the ocean in night sky with awe, and wonder, worship this awesome God.
🩸You can feel that you’re not worth living, be swept away by the lover of your soul.
Who is he? Jesus is his name.
AMEN
