Just listened to Alexei Sayle on #DesertIslandDiscs. I wept with laughter at this fantastic funny man who went to LA though he liked to sing songs about Stalin, who was reared a Commie but loves Evelyn Waugh. A reminder too that @BBC is, despite all its troubles, a noble thing.
