An awesome moment in Michigan: Tommy Carr scores his first touchdown and his grandpa's cheering him on.

Chase Martin (@ChaseMartin1212) committed to Ohio State baseball because putting on the jersey 'felt different in the best way possible' Justin Haire's staff made sure he knew they wanted him 🀝 Story: on3.com/teams/ohio-state-buc…

On top of all of this he ran a 6.62 60 at the top prospect games. Named All-Ohio in both OHSBCA and PBR OhioΒ this past season as a sophomore. Also has a 4.3 GPA.

Two independent scouts both noted legitimate bat-to-ball skills and the ability to drive it with authority to all fields, not just pull-side pop. He is currently ranked No. 38 in Ohio's 2028 class and the recruitment is wide open, meaning now is the time to build a relationship before others catch on. The 2028 grad year combined with his current size gives him significant physical projection remaining, meaning the 104 EV number is likely a floor rather than a ceiling. Getting in front of him now, before the recruiting market catches up to the profile, is the obvious play. When you create an instant arc that the ball runs into, instead of β€˜trying to hit the ball’…..you’ll find uncommon quickness. The cheat code.
