Hoping to leave this picture at Rate Field this week. My dad passed away on Friday. This picture is from the game on June 24th against Cle. It would be his last Sox game. It was also my sons first Sox game. Like so many, the Sox bonded us and gave us so many memories. @whitesox

A more extensive description from Global News: "A live-fire training exercise hit a gas line or gas well on the base causing an explosion around 4 p.m. MT, multiple Canadian Armed Forces sources told Global News. A fire then broke out and spread, fuelled by wind gusts of up to 100 km/h that prompted much of Alberta to be under wind warnings on Saturday." They report at least 7 dead and dozens more injured.

CBC News reports it spoke to a doctor at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, who says, “This number of patients [in Wainwright] would overwhelm the city of Edmonton and that is why we are clearing our decks and mobilizing to respond as if it was our own city. It is more patients than any of us want to count right now. It’s a disaster. It’s a one in every 15 to 25-year disaster.”

This app is insanely farming your entire life when you order this pizza.
I connected my Gmail to order a pizza, and afterward the AI casually admitted it had collected information about my family, closest friends, businesses, travel habits, loyalty programs, favorite restaurants, and even Citi Bike usage.
How fucked up is it that an AI agent tasked with ordering a pizza is digging through your entire personal life?
This is a massive privacy problem with AI agents.
We're giving away $1,000,000 of free pizza right now
Download and order from the Hark app: hark.com/download
Type "order a free pizza" in chat. It's first-come, first-served, delivered only in the U.S. (review details below)

The 1982 World Series was a looming event in my childhood. I remember the team so well. Every win drove hordes of people to downtown Milwaukee to walk up and down Wisconsin Avenue partying. For some reason, my parents let us go with my big brother. Gen X childhood was just different.

Couldn’t hope for a better initial update. It had looked to me like the filly just tripped out of exhaustion (she’s always struggled finishing), but took an ugly fall thereafter. Hopefully it’s only more good news for both horse and rider.
