🚨Robin Roefs defends Regis Le Bris ahead of Sunderland v Chelsea, telling me, ‘Regis stands behind us, so we stand behind him’ in an interview for the Premier League.
🗣️ “Last season, we were nasty, we were direct. We’re too imbalanced and give away easy goals. We need to remember what we did last season and find the confidence in each other again.”
🗣️ “If you see what Regis has done for this club from being in the Championship at a low point, to bringing us to the Premier League and qualifying for Europe, I think that’s built so much credit for him.”
🗣️ “We’re all behind him as players. He’s a good man and manager to have in this moment because his emotions are balanced. He stands firmly behind us - he knows we can turn things around - and we stand firmly behind him too.”

Just a reminder….
Once the Last Post is played today on the bugle, there’s supposed to be period of silence. That is not an indication to start clapping.
Hopefully the club put it across on the screens and tannoy correctly, and people follow along appropriately.

🚨🗣 UFC Legend Khabib on Cristiano Ronaldo’s international retirement:
“When you give everything, you eventually become unwanted.
There are the greats, and then there are the greatest of all time.
Ronaldo belongs among the greatest of the greatest, and at that level, people struggle to understand the mentality of such giants.
What he has given to football cannot be described in a single word, just as the way the clubs he gave everything to have treated him cannot be put into words.”
Greatness appreciates greatness. 🐐🤝

Europe’s wingers this season, sorted into three profiles: Playmaking, Box Impact and Duelist.
To make a circle, you need to rank in the top 15% of the winger pool for that role. (Bundesliga not included)
Only four made all three 👇🇲🇦 Gessime Yassine
🇬🇪 Giorgi Kvernadze 🇪🇸 Lamine Yamal
🇦🇷 Matías Soulé
Who’s missing? 👀

No issues with him at all, he tries the progressive pass, always shows for the ball, isnt afraid to make mistakes
If players make good runs, he will find them. Too many are playing too safe atm down to a loss of confidence & fear of making mistakes , at least hes trying to be progressive with his play.

Xhaka is NOT the problem at #SAFC. He's just an easy target because of the Chelsea stuff.
Is he giving the ball away more? Yes. Is it standing out more? Yes - because he's the only one trying to make forward passes and make something progressive happen.
