Thank you to everyone who joined us in London for our Lithium Breakfast Briefing with Horizon Insights during LME Week. The morning focused on China’s domestic supply-demand balance and the growing need for physically deliverable USD contracts across regional battery hubs.

Building institutional liquidity has no shortcuts, but @abaxx_exchange is proving the model: tighter spreads, deeper order books, and now major physical traders onboarding GKS for Singapore #Gold delivery. Wrapping up another solid month for both total volumes and market structure development. While AI dismantles traditional business moats, institutional network liquidity moats are hard, slow, but built to last. $ABXX.TO #29ers

Compute trades mostly bilaterally. Standardized, exchange-traded contracts would add price transparency, surveillance, and clearing to the market. Jump’s comment letter supports CFTC oversight of cash-settled, physically settled, and perpetual contracts. Jump looks forward to being a part of building these markets.

💯 %. The best way to guard against the systemic failures happening now is to change the game theory. As long as an attacker can compromise a single endpoint and walk away with the vault, there will always be attackers. If we change the game so instead of robbing a bank and walking away with a billion dollars, the attacker has to pick a single dollar out of a billion pockets, that then becomes the best defense, as the cost/benefit no longer makes sense for the attacker.

Great,, now upgrade the NRT United Club. It’s a dump.
HOUSTON — United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby has a lofty goal: “to build the best airline in the history of aviation.” And today, as he welcomed guests to a preview of the new Terminal B North Concourse at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, and the massive new United Club housed within, he didn’t mince words about how United will make good on this vision. “We’re maniacally focused on making air travel great for customers, making it easy,” Kirby told United employees, high-status loyalty members, local dignitaries, and members of the media who attended the event. “And for so long in aviation, people thought of air travel as a commodity. I do not think air travel is a commodity. I think we owe you, our customers, a good experience,” he declared, while flanked by a dazzling digital light installation, The Digital Bayou, at the heart of the new concourse. United’s work to offer a world-class inflight passenger experience is well documented: it is installing Panasonic seatback IFE screens across its mainline fleet, complementing its already-fitted widebodies; going fleet-wide with SpaceX’s Starlink Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satcom solution to power free Wi-Fi for loyalty members (more than 640 aircraft are equipped); and it’s even integrating Starlink with the screens to offer deeper personalization. The airline’s new Polaris and Polaris Studio doored mini-suites are also winning passenger accolades, and business traveler awards. But Kirby wants to go further. “I want your vacation to start when you arrive at your departure airport,” he said today at IAH, which serves as a key United hub and premier gateway for Latin America and Caribbean traffic. To that end, as part of a 33-month project to replace the 1969-era Terminal B, IAH’s new Terminal B North Concourse has been thoughtfully designed for the modern traveler. The on-the-ground experience represents a key passenger touchpoint, and an opportunity for United to set a good impression before a traveler steps on board. And that’s where the mammoth new United Club at Terminal B North Concourse comes in. They say that everything is bigger in Texas. And this space definitely fits the bill. Roughly the size of a football field, the 54,000 sq ft facility is the largest airline club in the Americas, and features multiple distinct zones. Here's a first look inside both the concourse and the new United Club. runwaygirlnetwork.com/2026/1…

Btw, had a variation of this convo with one of the world’s largest mining companies yesterday (talking copper, uranium, potash, concs, critical minerals etc…). It’s all moving to abstraction and PRAs, CFDs. ..in a world drowning in information, many commodities are rapidly losing price signal as the world balkanizes. They thanked us (for our often thankless work), one of the only exchanges truly focused on the work of hard price discovery of real things.

This is another core advantage of the FCM-intermediated model (as opposed to centralized and pseudo-anon crypto token exchanges or direct clearing/central broker matching etc.). Delivery eligibility and KYC risks reside at the FCM known-customer level. There are many layers of delivery-eligibility risk management in the ecosystem, with jurisdiction level controls by each regulated FCM—but they can all still all meet for centralized anon liquidity and price discovery. In many ways your questions is no different than how we have to operationalize EU REMIT for energy markets, where the EU wants granular detail on who is trading each lot of energy (paper or physical).

This is why we built #MarketOS. Our core thesis: decentralized & verifiable identity as the foundation for all multi-party cloud and market networks. It delivers true privacy and trust by eliminating single points of failure and slashing attack surfaces. Today, data lives in centralized honeypots waiting to be robbed. By shifting to billions of verifiable wallets connected via content addressing, systemic risk disappears: an attacker can no longer breach one central server to get everything—they have to target countless individual endpoints just to find sparse data. Cc @TimeTravlrBowie
Cyber is going to be one of the most profound aspects of AI. We now have a tireless workforce that can hunt down, discover, patch, or attack any system and software ever created. We will use agents to identify the long standing risks in existing systems and infrastructure. Attackers will use agents to accelerate the discovery of gaps in environments. We will equally use agents to defend attacks and discover anomalous patterns to better protect our data, and much more. We’re entering a new cyber regime, and we’ll probably use 100X more tokens on this loop than we’re imagining right now, because we can scan every log, look at every line of code, look through traffic, and process data at a scale that wasn’t comprehensible before. More than ever, enterprises are going to care deeply about how they manage their networks, systems, software, data, identity, devices, and more. Agents will largely become the solution to these challenges, but they will keep everyone up in the process.

Power market analysts and traders are just mathematical bots. The same will go for compute and intelligence spreads IMO (from LNG to power sparks, to day-ahead renewables, to power-compute arbs). @abaxx_tech, @abaxx_exchange & @abaxx_labs are building the full stack; from regulated markets and clearing, to MarketOS 🆔++ and trusted private data infra for pre-trade and post trade, to the ID and compliance stack for agentic automation.
