Whatever your day has looked like, tonight's Scripture carries a beautiful reminder:
Rest is not something we have to earn. It's a gift God intended for us to enjoy.
When God finished His work of creation, He rested. Not because He was tired or lacked strength, but because His work was complete. He blessed the seventh day and set it apart as holy.
And in doing so, He gave us an example worth remembering.
We live in a world that constantly encourages us to do more, accomplish more, and keep moving. Sometimes we become so busy taking care of everything and everyone around us that we forget to care for ourselves.
We carry worries into the evening, replay conversations in our minds, and think about everything waiting for us tomorrow.
But God never intended for us to carry every burden without stopping.
There is a time to work, a time to serve, and a time to be still.
Tonight, give yourself permission to slow down.
Enjoy the quiet. Appreciate the blessings of home and family. Let go of what didn't get accomplished today, and remember that tomorrow's responsibilities don't have to steal tonight's peace.

Recordings were taken at the mall, parks, the zoo and other public venues.
He already posted bail before his arraignment...

Another failed judicial moment with California.
Andrew Luster, now 63, was convicted in 2003 for 86 felonies, including drugging women with GHB, while they were unconscious, committing rape, sodomy and oral copulation while recording it...
His sentence originally was 124 years, and then reduced to 50 years after a technicality was argued on an appeal.
California's proposition 57, passed in 2016, allows early release for NON-VIOLENT criminals....
The law has since been amended to include these charges as violent crimes, but he slipped through their cracks.
He currently lives in Glendora, California, and the community despises him being there, and are making it known he is not welcome.

On Saturday he showed up in Cleveland to prop up Amy Acton and Sherrod Brown, proof of how desperate Democrats are in a state that has moved solidly right.
When you have to drag a former president out of retirement for a midterm rally, the message is clear: the candidates can’t carry their own races.
Obama’s routine, joking about the White House looking like “Saddam Hussein opened a Cheesecake Factory,” mocking renovations, and attacking Pete Hegseth, played well only to the friendly room of clapping seals. Outside that bubble it landed with a thud.
The jokes felt forced, tone-deaf, and disconnected from the cost-of-living and border concerns most Ohioans actually care about.
Meanwhile the Left and its media allies keep calling Vivek Ramaswamy’s ad “controversial” and a “misstep.”
There’s nothing wrong with it. The spot features Acton’s own mother, Donna Arthur, warning voters not to trust her daughter because she has a habit of lying, about Ramaswamy in her ads and about her own background, to gain power. When a candidate’s own mother says don’t elect her, voters have every right to hear that message.
Democrats are flailing. Bringing Obama out of retirement to paper over weak candidates and to attack a straightforward ad only highlights the problem. Ohio voters see through the theater.
