Was Jesus the "messiah" by "divine birth" (meaning, he had no choice in the matter, it was set in stone)
OR
did he CHOOSE to embrace the point of BEING the messiah? And then lived as the Image and Likeness of God - as it is stated to be our true nature?
Which means: we can all choose it, we can all embrace our Image and Likeness of God - and live as such.
After all, don't we have FREE WILL?
Didn't God give us FREE WILL?
That implies: the freedom to willingly forgive all of our sins and live in Perfection as the father that is in heaven = as Jesus himself commanded his followers...
He commanded that because he was living that. But, he was just embracing his divine nature.
The QUESTion is:
Why aren't we embracing and living our divine nature as the Image and Likeness of God -- and instead we are using our Free Will to remain sinners...

From the very beginning, Israel has intentionally targeted Palestinian civilians and lied about it. On the night of October 14, 1953, Israeli soldiers raided Qibya in the Jordanian-ruled West Bank. They killed 69 people, about two-thirds of them women and children. They blew up 45 houses, the school, and the mosque.
The army’s order said to attack Qibya with the aim of “temporary occupation, blowing up houses and harming the inhabitants.” In notes the IDF published in 2024, Sharon says most raids before Qibya “were carried out against civilians.” He says Ben-Gurion told him afterwards: “It’s not important what the world will say.”
But Israeli lied and said that not a single army unit, “not even the smallest,” was absent from its base that night. He blamed Israeli border settlers whose patience had run out.
Here is how the lie was discovered and how Israel has continued to lie like that since. Watch my full clip below.

After the 1929 riots in Palestine, the Jews of Lebanon and Syria condemned Zionism:
"We deplore the Zionist acts of violence,” the President of Beirut’s Jewish community declared in the mosque.
“We are Arabs from time immemorial, and we disapprove of the Zionist enterprise instituted by Jews from Eastern Europe,” declared the Jewish Youth Organization of Damascus in all the newspapers.’
In Beirut, many young Jews took part in the anti-Zionist demonstrations which rolled through the streets.
They understand that the Jewish attempt to colonize an Arab / Muslim majority country would have blowback for Jews living in Arab & Muslim countries.
They were correct about it. Zionism effectively brought about the extinction of Lebanese Jewry.

Out of roughly 2 million olive trees in Gaza before October 2023, only 150,000 trees remain standing. This is a loss of roughly 85% to 90% of the region's olive groves.
Ecocide is the deliberate, widespread destruction of natural ecosystems necessary to sustain human life. Many experts would agree that Israel's systematic destruction of Palestinian farmlands, aquifers, and trees would qualify as ecocide.
Under international humanitarian law including the Geneva Conventions, any objects indispensable to the survival of the civilian population like agricultural areas are granted special protections during conflict.
Olive oil and table olives are crucial to Gaza's local agricultural economy, but in Palestinian culture, olive trees are much more than just a commodity. They are symbols of continuity, resilience, and attachment to the soil. Many groves are hundreds of years old and passed down through generations.
Unlike annual crops like tomatoes or cucumbers that can be replanted and harvested in a single season, mature olive trees represent decades of invested capital. Losing them wipes out a reliable source of income for thousands of families, leaving them dependent on foreign aid.

During the first few decades of Zionist colonization of Palestine, the Jewish settlers wanted to become "a new breed of Jew" that appeared native to the land.
So what customs did the Zionist settlers embrace? Palestinian Arab customs, including wearing Arab dress, wearing Arab headgear, performing Arab performances like sword-dance performances, as well as using Arabic nomeclature.
And yet... as one Zionist writer put it, "but I would not at all have liked -- and all Zionists will surely agree with me here -- Jews to imitate the Arabs and the Beduins, that is to say, that they should be influenced by a primitive civilization, which, despite its virtues, has ever so many grave defects."
And herein the great irony of Zionist colonization of Palestine: they basically wanted to become Palestinian Arab even though they were deeply racist and bigoted towards Palestinian Arabs.

If you want to understand Israeli Jewish society, I highly recommend watching this 4 minute clip.
The host asks representatives of major Israeli Jewish political partiies, "do you support a Palestinian State, yes or no." The responses:
#1: "hell no"
#2: "of course no"
#3: "no, definitely not”
#4: "clearly not”
#5: "this is a useless discussion”
#6: "no. we will do everything to prevent it.”
#7: "clearly no”
#8: "no government in the history of Israel has done more to avoid a Palestinian state than this government [that I am in]."
This election is a competition among Jewish Israelis over who is the biggest Nazi. Who embraces Nazism more than their opponents?
Israel is by far the most genocidal country in the world. there is no 2nd place or 3rd place. it's an entire society completely and utterly drunk on apartheid & genocide.
Israeli TV brings together a host of different candidates "from across the political spectrum" and asks them if they support the establishment of a Palestinian state.
They uniformly declare "No!"
"We'll fight it tooth and nail! … It's against God!"
By Israeli standards, Netanyahu is a moderate who is not genocidal enough.

I can play this game too.
Define "Jews".
No one in the Bible is called a "Jew" until Mordecai -- מרדכי היהודי -- in the Scroll of Esther, historically the latest book of the Bible, set in Persia in roughly 4th century BCE, i.e. 2,500 yrs ago.
No one was "a Jew" anywhere 3,700 years ago.
The stories that we are emotionally attached to are really hard to let go of. If you want to base your worldview on actual truth, please learn more about the Bible and biblical history.
And, regardless of what the Bible says, none of it is any justification for Jews of our time to murder Palestinians and steal their land.
Replying to @RabbiMivasair
Define "ruled by". There have been Jews in Judea and Samaria continuously for 3700 years. Muslims have been settlers at best. Colonizers is a better term. Face facts.

Is Zionism racism?
To answer this question requires a proper understanding of Zionism in both theory and practice.
Zionism is essentially a synonym for Jewish nationalism. It is the belief that Jews constitute a distinct people and nation, and on this basis require the establishment of a nation-state of their own to achieve their natural rights and collective potential.
In putting forth such views, the late-nineteenth-century founders of the Zionist movement were first and foremost adopting and reflecting the nationalist milieu and principles dominant in Europe, the environment in which they were formed and in which they operated.
Yet, from the very outset Zionism was different than other European nationalism. Unlike for example the Greeks, Serbs, Poles, or Italians, Zionism’s intended constituents – the Jews of Europe – did not have an ancient homeland on the European continent in which they remained a majority.
The Zionist movement was unwilling as well as unable to challenge an existing European state to carve out an independent state in which Jews, like other European peoples, would enjoy uncontested demographic, territorial, and political supremacy.
Its leaders instead sought to acquire the cooperation and sponsorship of a European power to colonize and establish a state in territory outside Europe. Palestine was not the only non-European territory proposed for this venture. Various others in Africa, the Americas, Australia, as well as Cyprus were also considered, several quite seriously.
In each of these cases the Zionist movement was proceeding from another principle dominant in Europe at the time. None of these territories were uninhabited, yet their inhabitants did not possess inalienable rights, and could be freely subordinated, dispossessed, and even exterminated in the service of European power.
The Zionist movement ultimately settled on Palestine for its nation-state project. Enabled by what the pre-eminent Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi termed “the British shield”, its project met with success in 1948 with the establishment of the Israeli state.
Israel could not have been established as a Jewish state without the mass dispossession and expulsion of the Arabs of Palestine, and the wholesale usurpation of their lands and properties. Israel could not have developed as a Zionist state without the systematic application of structural racism against its non-Jewish citizens and the enforcement of apartheid regimes against Arab populations beyond its initial boundaries that would come under its control in subsequent decades.
Crucially, the exact same pattern would have been implemented, by design, if the Zionist movement had opted for Uganda, Libya, or any other territory under its consideration instead of Palestine. It is this which distinguishes Zionism from most (but not all) other nationalisms.
In other words, the British Green Party, like the United Nations General Assembly in Resolution 3379 of 1975, got it exactly right.

There is nothing racist about any ethnic or religious group wanting their own homeland.
The problem is if this desire is at the expense of another people.
Zionism in practise meant "a homeland at the expense of Palestinians".
It's really not hard to grasp this basic point!

I explain here why I voted for the “Zionism is racism” motion at the Green Party conference. I now find myself, despite being Jewish, labelled “antisemitic” and “extremist” or sometimes worse. Obviously, I do not accept these labels
Here is my thinking
1. The dominant Israeli and Western narrative is that Zionism means (a) the right for Jews to have a homeland in their biblical land and (b) the right to have a place of safety after persecution culminating in the horror of the Holocaust
2. This, on its face, is very reasonable, right & proper. This is the core of the UK political & media response to the Greens motion
3. Sadly, the early Zionist slogan that Palestine would be “a land without people, for a people without a land” was not true - the land DID have people, Palestinians
4. The great Palestinian-American intellectual, Edward Said, wrote a 1979 essay called “Zionism from the viewpoint of its victims”
5. That viewpoint is conspicuously absent from much discussion in the West
6. Zionism has meant decades of ethnic cleansing, oppression, apartheid & killing of millions of Palestinians BECAUSE they are Palestinians
7. This is why Zionism is racism
8. One of my (many) Jewish heroes is Marek Edelman, the last surviving commander of the resistance in the Warsaw Ghetto. He did not go to live in Israel. He was an anti-Zionist. He said, “To be a Jew means always being with the oppressed, never with the oppressors”

These were all people's homes. Completely and totally destroyed.
These images should haunt those who enabled Israel's crimes against humanity - and we will never give up until there is justice for the Palestinian people.

Today, the words “colonialism” and “colonization” bother Zionist sensibilities, as indicted war criminal and genocidaire benjamin netanyahu is clearly bothered by the word, but that’s how the Zionist movement described itself and saw itself for much of its history.
For Zionists, colonization was not a dirty word, it was something to be proud of, which is why they embraced the term:
The Imperial Charter for the Colonization of Palestine, for example, was a proposal submitted by Theodor Herzl to the Ottoman Sultan Abdulhamid II to secure Ottoman legal guarantees for Jewish settlement in Palestine.
The Jewish Colonisation Association encouraged the emigration and resettlement of Eastern European Jews to Argentina, Palestine and elsewhere.
The Jewish Colonial Trust, a Zionist financial institution, acquired capital and credit for a Palestine charter.
The Palestine Jewish Colonization Association facilitated Jewish land purchases in Palestine.
The Zionists thought of themselves as bringing development and modernity to Palestine, as Herzl put it, “an outpost of civilization as opposed to barbarism.” they saw colonization and colonialism as good things.
But the Zionist movement was not just any old colonial movement, it was a settler-colonial movement, a specific kind of colonialism that veers towards replacement rather than extraction and permanent settlement rather than temporary residence.
And, indeed, the Zionist movement did not seek to integrate into Palestinian Arab society, it sought to take it over.
It sought to establish a Jewish State with a Jewish supermajority working at Jewish-only cooperatives living in Jewish-only colonies operating Jewish-only schools maintained by Jewish-only militias in a country, Palestine, that was overwhelmingly Palestinian Arab, not Jewish. What could possibly go wrong?
So it turns out that when the hostages were taken on Oct 7th, Hamas informed Qatar that we’re ready to release them at 7pm on the same day and the only thing they wanted in return was to start negotiations.
israel flat out refused, because the whole point of Oct 7th was to manufacture consent to demolish Gaza.
The more we learn about Oct 7th, the more it indicts israel for allowing its own citizens to be used as collateral damage, to further their own demonic agenda.
Pure evil.
