Preview of the new season of “This Old House starring Donald Trump”
“You call it corruption, we call it experience”. How about we just call it experienced at corruption?
The widening policy gap between Congress and the White House is the only clear thing.
WELKER: Trump said he finds Zelenskyy more difficult to deal with than Putin. He struck an oil deal with Putin. Do you think with these moves the president is siding with Putin?
LANKFORD: No. It's pretty clear he's siding with Ukraine.
WELKER: Ukraine doesn't feel that way
LANKFORD: He's trying to get both sides to the table
Corruption has a way of getting exposed. I'm surprised it took this long, but better late than never. Seems pretty simple: vote Republican, and government corruption will persist and likely get worse.

I don’t believe the volume of diesel Russia will export will affect the price. Moreover, we see that they can export from 300,000 to 500,000 tons a month today. Meanwhile, global consumption stands at 120 million tons a month. What kind of impact can that have? I don’t think it would have any. If some people think otherwise, so be it.
So I believe there are entirely different reasons behind these actions. If this is the approach, then why isn’t America making a “diesel deal” with Ukraine? Let Ukraine propose a “diesel deal.” We do have influence over whether these ships can sail or not, whether these refineries can operate or not. If that’s the case, then let’s do it.
Electricity is what matters to us. That’s clear. If we can be guaranteed protection for our power system, then we will not strike Russia’s diesel infrastructure in response. Electricity is first and foremost about helping people – keeping their lights on. It also means helping Europe. Everyone knows that we are connected to the European power grid. And if our energy infrastructure is not being destroyed, we can help some countries that are facing shortages by supplying them with cheaper electricity.
So, yes, let’s sign a corresponding “diesel deal” with the President of the United States.

"Proof of spine"
James Talarico just BRUTALLY TORCHED Ken Paxton while his MAGA lackeys try to spread conspiracy theories to cover for the fact that Paxton is TOO COWARDLY to debate:
“I’ve heard credible reports that Ken Paxton has a serious medical condition that causes clinical levels of cowardice.
He asked for proof of life from me. I’m asking for PROOF OF SPINE from him.”
You are in deep trouble when the last guy on the bench is Newt Gingrich, and he needs to throw a Hail Mary pass like this. Newt is on his 3rd marriage, so it makes sense that he supports Paxton, who is also an admitted adulterer. God must be laughing at this plan.
Why wasn't a U.S. company the JV partner? What purpose is served by using a 3rd party with no prior experience in the LNG business?

Translation: "Dithering mode"
BREAKING: President Trump told Fox News Chief Foreign Correspondent @TreyYingst that he is in a “deciding mode” and "very big things" are going to happen in the near future regarding the US-Iran war.
Trump said, "My question is, if and when do I blow the entire nation up? They better behave."
Trump also said he's "open" to meeting with Iran's president after Tehran sent a list of war-ending demands. | @foxandfriends

Hasset: "Polls harm impressions about the economy"
Doocy: "No far-left media here, Kevin"
Trump has bragged about his polls since he first ran for President. It was like a war cry to say he was leading in the polls. Now polls are wrong and causing harm because they are negative on the very issues he ran on.
Just what we need: an AI branding exercise. I wonder what the licensing fee would be for this new brand of intelligence? Next up, rebranding the war with Iran.
A: From Russia with Love
B: Oops, I did it again
C: Iran, so far away
Nothing strengthens the bond market more than an influencer-turned-boxer. In his next stunt, Jake will bend the yield curve.
Great to welcome @jakepaul to the Treasury Department today.
Jake’s path from content creator to entrepreneur and professional boxer is a distinctly American story. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
If Republicans win both the House and the Senate, Trump has promised to pay you $5000. The odds of that happening are about 1 in 6. If you think he will keep the promise, the expected value is ~ $750. If you think he won't keep the promise, then it is probably worth less than one tank of gas. It cost me $105 to fill my MDX two days ago.
I am not suggesting this should happen, but somebody with a Sharpie is going to realize how easily South, Central, and North America could be changed to "America".
Our plan would have worked "if it hadn't been for the war between Russia and Ukraine, which had been ongoing for the past 4.5 years, 12.5 years since annexing Crimea." That is some weak tea.
