I have difficult news to share. After several challenging years, and a funding round we were unable to close, our company has been declared bankrupt. This is the company behind both @DietDoctor and @JoinHava. If you are a subscriber, I expect your first questions are about your subscription and whether the apps will keep working. Let me answer those directly (this message has also been emailed to all customers). Will the services keep working? Right now, yes. Diet Doctor and Hava are currently still running, and you can keep using them. But I can't guarantee how long. A bankruptcy trustee has taken over the company and will try to sell the apps and websites to a new owner who can keep them running. If a buyer is found quickly, you may not notice any change. If no buyer is found, the services will shut down, possibly very soon. I'll let you know if there's news, though I can't promise advance warning before any shutdown. Your subscription and billing To avoid being charged again for a service whose future is uncertain, you may cancel your subscription at any time. How you do that depends on where you signed up: - Apple App Store: on your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel there. - Google Play: open the Play Store app, go to Subscriptions, and cancel there. - If you signed up on our website, Hava.co or DietDoctor.com, log in there to cancel (for Diet Doctor, then go to your profile and click on “My membership”) Cancelling stops future charges. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We're also working on pausing any new charges due to the current uncertainty, but to be sure of not being charged, consider cancelling as described above. Refunds I'm not able to promise refunds as the trustee now controls the company's finances, and in a bankruptcy prepaid subscriptions generally cannot be refunded by the company. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, you can request a refund directly from Apple or Google, who decide these case by case. The most reliable way to avoid further cost is to cancel. Your data We don't have an automatic way to export your data. If there's information in the app you'd like to keep, such as your weight history or notes, please save it manually while the service is still online, for example with screenshots. Once a service shuts down, that information may not be recoverable. A small ask If you happen to know a company or person who might want to take over DietDoctor.com, Hava.co, or the apps and keep them running for users like you, I'd be grateful if you put them in touch with me. My DMs are open. Thank you. Being trusted with people's health is a real privilege. I’m proud of what we built over the years and grateful you were part of it. I still believe, as strongly as ever, that there are better ways to reach metabolic health and a healthy weight than counting calories. Whether through lower-carb eating or a more flexible satiety approach, focusing on food quality tends to work better over the long term. I hope you carry some of that with you, whatever happens to the apps. I hope our services continue under a new owner. If they don't, I hope you got real value from them while they were here. If you have any questions, please reach out. Best, Andreas Eenfeldt Founder & CEO Diet Doctor, Hava

The NUMBER ONE customer request is finally here. Not only that, the team really delivered. It's now possible to import new recipes into the @JoinHava app. You can see their nutrition and satiety scores, and easily save them for later, or log them. You can import via image(s) of the recipe – e.g. take a picture of a screen or cookbook. You can import via link (e.g. from social media), or just by describing a recipe (e.g. "a popular high-satiety breakfast recipe"). What's more, you even get an AI-generated image for your recipe (after 30 seconds or so). I like it! Please try it out and tell me what you think. What should we improve or add? iOS: apps.apple.com/us/app/hava-l… Android: play.google.com/store/apps/d…

This works 👇👇👇. And you can eat some carbs and not feel constantly hungry 😋.

Do you want to check the satiety effect of what you're eating? We built the @JoinHava app for exactly this. Just take a picture of your meal (or scan a barcode) to find out in seconds. Take the quiz, and you can try it for free: hava.co/quiz

This graph shows what happens when people eat higher-satiety food. It's based on over 250,000 days of eating. X-axis: Hava satiety score (0–100). Higher = more filling per calorie. Y-axis: Total daily calories. The average American diet scores about 27. This drives increased hunger and overeating. Move to a score of 70+ and calories drop by half — without hunger, without restriction. People just naturally eat less because they feel full. Aiming for a score of about 50 is a great start and likely enough for most people to get a good weight and health. This is what Hava measures. Every food gets a satiety score (just take a picture of a meal or scan a barcode). Eat higher on the scale, as much or as little as you want, and your body does the rest. Take the quiz, and you can try it for free: hava.co/quiz

There have been a lot of great updates to the @JoinHava app lately. Here's one of them. Just click the protein or calorie numbers to get all the foods in a meal sorted by that factor (by gram or calories). You can also show the carb grams or fiber, and obviously our satiety score. Super convenient to switch with just the click of a button. Try it out and let me know if there's anything you're missing in the app. Download it here (free trial available): iOS: apps.apple.com/us/app/hava-l… Android: play.google.com/store/apps/d…

The latest version of the @JoinHava app has improved search, making it far easier to find branded products (they also rarely appear if you’re NOT searching for them). More cool improvements coming up, despite the fact that lately we’re mostly refining the introduction for new customers. Once that’s done we’ll return the focus to improving core functionality. The @JoinHava app will soon have high-quality images for almost all branded foods in the world, sourced by our AI agent from the best online images. As far as I know, it's the first nutrition app in the world to do this. Sure beats the text-only interface of MyFitnessPal, etc.

Do you need some new high satiety meal ideas. This 5* rated dish (4px) @bbcgoodfood fits the bill. It's very high in protein/low energy dense but still tastes great. Give it a try! bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/fami… Data from @JoinHava More high satiety recipes @ s.samsungfood.com/LezTz

More recent improvements to the HAVA app! 1. As you may have seen, you can now change serving sizes on the meal page as well as on the photo/voice tracking screens. Just click the "..." menu to access it (see image). It's super convenient if, let's say, you eat a second serving of something – this can increase or decrease the amounts of all ingredients. It's also very helpful for recipes. 2. We now have Apple/Google Health sync, so that if you stand on a connected scale, your weight will be updated in the HAVA app (it works in the other direction too, from our app to Apple/Google Health). 3. The barcode scanner has gotten some further improvements, with a larger scan area and a message if we have to go hunting for a new & unknown barcode online (this may take a few seconds tops). Apart from this, we just released AI voice tracking on iPhone, it's coming on Android soon, possibly tomorrow. Are you missing something or do you have suggestions for further improvements? Let me know in the comments below. Download the HAVA app, iPhone: apps.apple.com/us/app/hava-w… Android: play.google.com/store/apps/d…

It's live! Our brand new HAVA AI voice tracking is now available in the latest version of the iOS app (1.68). Coming on Android later this week. This is the smartest, fastest AI voice tracking of food I've yet seen. There are still a few bugs (fixes coming soon), but otherwise, it's great. Just say what you ate with any level of detail. If you don't say the amounts, you'll get very smart guesses. You can also tweak foods, e.g., to get something without or with certain ingredients. Try it and see what you think! Give the AI some challenging things to log. Improvement suggestions most welcome! Keep in mind that this is v1. We're aware of a number of bugs to fix, primarily that the tracking sometimes fails, making it necessary to start over. This will be fixed soon. Apart from that bug, it's already pretty great. The AI is already much smarter than I've seen in any other nutrition app. To try it out, just press the big "PLUS" button on the main screen, then press the audio button at the lower right. Share your reaction below. Download the HAVA app here, iPhone: apps.apple.com/us/app/hava-w… Android: play.google.com/store/apps/d…

It's fascinating to see the transformations achieved by those who incorporate the knowledge of @tednaiman @thePEdiet and the tools of @DrEenfeldt @JoinHava into their lives... ✨️🙌 📉 The P:E Diet -- PDF eBook thepediet.com/ ⚖️ To try the SPC / satiety per calorie approach, download the Hava app. iPhone: apps.apple.com/us/app/hava-e… Android: play.google.com/store/apps/d… 👇👇👇
I've been following @tednaiman's #thePEdiet for 3 years now (also now incorporating the updated satiety-per-calorie model from @JoinHava, which is also featured in Ted's latest book, Satiety Per Calorie, which I'm reading now). I've put on more than 10 kg (22 lbs) of muscle. Nothing crazy—just eating high-satiety (biggest focus is protein) 80%+ of the time & doing intense but short (15–20 min) calisthenics workouts 80%+ of days. It's all about consistency (for me). Dead simple and a low time commitment, but effort is required. (That said, I never go hungry—if I find myself hungry between meals or at the end of the day, non-fat Greek yogurt with berries is a go-to). I definitely have more energy in day-to-day life and just generally feel better and healthier. Eating high satiety and doing daily calisthenics feels very locked in at this point—onward and upward!

Send this video to everyone in your life struggling with obesity or excess weight.
It's time to reveal the future of nutrition and health. Here is the Hava Keynote 2025. The world is in the middle of an epidemic of obesity and disease. Just like with COVID, the pharmaceutical industry is getting ready to profit by medicating everybody – and this time for life! But wait. While satiety drugs like Ozempic help many, perhaps we don't need to medicate every man, woman, and child on Earth? Perhaps we can instead eat higher-satiety foods? And become healthy, fit, and strong, perhaps even without drugs? This seems like an obvious idea, but nobody has made it simple to do, until Hava. It was arguably impossible until brand-new AI technology unlocked this opportunity. Check out our latest keynote video, summarizing this potentially world-changing approach and our rapidly improving product, the Hava app. If you've already tried it recently, you'll also get a sneak peek at a few extremely cool features we'll release later this month. If you want to try Hava, a free tier is available. Just download the app. iPhone: apps.apple.com/us/app/hava-e… Android: play.google.com/store/apps/d… If you want more people to know about this, please share this post and video. Thank you for your support! We could not do this without you.🙏

Another heart-warming review of the Hava app, in the App Store:❤️ I’ve been using Hava for a few weeks now, and it’s truly transformed the way I approach food. The ‘Snap & Track’ feature is incredibly intuitive, just a quick photo of my meal, and I receive instant feedback on its nutritional value and satiety score. This real-time insight has made me more mindful of my choices without the hassle of manual logging. What sets Hava apart is its focus on satiety. Instead of obsessing over calorie counts, I’m guided towards foods that keep me fuller longer, making healthy eating feel natural and sustainable. The personalized recommendations and extensive library of high-satiety recipes have been invaluable in diversifying my meals and staying on track with my health goals. The AI-powered assistant, Ava, is like having a personal nutrition coach available 24/7, offering tailored advice and answering my food-related queries promptly. Overall, Hava has made healthy eating effortless and enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their dietary habits without the stress of traditional dieting. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Try it yourself, there's a free trial.
