This is a coup attempt. They’re turning off traffic lights and canceling bus routes and flights and ferries on election day. The world needs to be paying attention
Multiple cities in Brazil including São Paulo and Salvador which both went for Lula in the first round are reporting having significant parts of their public transport system taken offline as part of vote suppression tactics by pro Bolsonaro politicians

I think of this every time Question 3 supporters say Question 3 is a solution to our lack of contested State House races. Nothing in Q3 helps change a one-candidate race to a two-candidate race, but it does make it harder to recruit candidate #2 by pushing up the cost.

Big new demographic tool from the NYT — they find that between 2020-24 in Georgia, white voters shifted one percentage point towards Democrats while Black voters shifted 5 percentage points towards Republicans: nytimes.com/interactive/2024…

“If people were getting paid enough, they would not be on the Snap program." It's quite simple. Republicans would rather see people starve, and farmers and stores lose business. theguardian.com/us-news/2026…

Today marks the last day people can register to vote or update their registration before the general election in MA. We should not have such a cutoff at all. Vote YES on 4 to bring us in line with all the states that already allow Election Day Registration.

Unsurprisingly, Sen. Collins joined Clr, Flynn in calling for cancellation of today’s Southie block party, similarly mischaracterizing the host — a Southie resident — as a commercial event promoter.
Photos of the lovely block party that Councilor Flynn tried to cancel, and will very likely blow up in the Herald and Mass Daily News. Flynn has already trashed the host as “an influencer of some sort,” a Southie resident that I understand lives around the corner, on Broadway.

It's the spooky season. And the scariest thing in MA isn't any vampire, werewolf, or zombie, and it's not found in Salem. What is it? Ballot Question 3, 5, and 8. Remember to vote NO on 3, 5, and 8.

The people in the Biden admin who aided, abetted, and covered up a genocide are changing their tune, probably because they know that their past actions could endanger thier ability to serve in future Dmeocratic administrations given where the base is. nytimes.com/2026/10/23/opini…

Remember when Florida Republicans paid a random guy with the same last name as the Democrat to run in a Senate race to confuse voters? Then the Democrat lost by 32 votes? Someone went to jail for that but nobody blocked the election results.

The effect of a lot of political media is preventing people from voting for what they want and instead encouraging them to play armchair strategist
#MichiganSenate Undecided voter in Michigan says he is voting for Mike Rogers because he doesn’t want Abdul El-Sayed to win by a lot “I have this hope that the outcome in Michigan will be that Benson wins by eight points, El-Sayed wins by two or three, and perhaps the future of the Democratic Party won't go down the tubes the way it did for the Republicans.”
