Not everyone is destined to be a racehorse, but luckily TBs are so versatile and willing to learn, which it makes it very easy for us to find them a 2nd career. This lovely lady retired unraced in June, but has really found her feet in her forever home (learning to play polo).

Maddy Dunbar has been in the saddle for as long as she can remember, but it was during her time with @godolphin that she discovered her passion for educating thoroughbreds. That passion inspired Maddy to launch MD Breaking and Training at just 24 years old last year. In a true full-circle moment, she found herself breaking in Godolphin yearlings in 2026. As runner-up in the Australian Thoroughbred Industry Employee Horsemanship Award, proudly sponsored by @inglis_sales , Maddy is a shining example of the dedication, skill and horsemanship that drive our industry forward. Living and breathing thoroughbreds every day, Maddy represents the next generation of horse people making an impact and helping ensure a bright future for Australian racing and breeding.

My Tuesday: 6.30am - schooled first OTT of the day “Isleham Village”, 5yo Yulong homebred by Grunt who was flown back from Singapore. 8.30am - into the office, replied to enquiries regarding rehoming a Yulong horse, contacted a retrainer to let her know a horse we’d discussed was being kept and retired to Yulong to safe guard his future. 4pm - organised a recently retired horse’s trip to Yulong’s pretraining farm to start his retraining process. 5.30pm - schooled second Yulong OTT “Strong Trade”, 4yo by Written Tycoon. 6.30pm - open social media to be told we have no rehoming initiative and don’t care about retired horses 🤦🏼‍♀️ Anyway, if you are genuinely interested in a Yulong off-the-track horse, hit me up at our very existent rehoming email: [email protected] 📸 My two much-loved Yulong boys 💚

The win of Elite Golf brings up an elite milestone for the Price Bloodstock Management team of @jftpaddock and David Price, being the 1000th @HKJC_Racing winner for the company.  A huge congratulations to David and Jenny.  A special milestone that wouldn’t be possible without the ongoing support of many people & of course the horses.
