If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed.......and we will deserve it.

Pretty much sums it up
This piece by @clairecm is a must read. These are not ideological objections...
“I feel like one of the Democrats’ main topics in every election is for minorities, for immigrants,” he said. “I feel like their thing is to hit this niche group and get all their votes.”

Trump: We can't take care of daycare. We're fighting wars. It's not possible for us to take care of daycare, Medicaid, Medicare, all these things.

Q: How do you expect us to start families young when the average price of a home feels out of reach?
JD VANCE: I want to point out that I've only gotten one question about Jon Husted's ass
OBAMA: I inherited this major financial crisis. I never called my Treasury Secretary and said, “You've got to go to Arby's. Order roast beef. No cheese though that may look elitist.”
They don't have solutions to actual problems, so they'd rather have the media and you talking about the Cheesecake Factory.

Obama on backlash about his Cheesecake Factory joke:
First of all, let me get this on the record. I am the father of two daughters. I lived at Chuck E. Cheese, and California Pizza Kitchen, and the Cheesecake Factory. That was my jam for about a decade. Of course, the real problem is prices have gotten so high, folks can barely afford to go out to eat. You would think that this administration would be spending time worrying about that.

Obama tonight on his Cheesecake Factory line: "They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke. Not to inflation, but to that joke. The White House even called the Secretary of the Treasury. This is the man who is in charge of the economy. The person who's supposed to be figuring out how to make your life more affordable. The guy who's supposed to be figuring out how to lower inflation. And reduce interest rates. They told him he should hold a press conference in front of the Cheesecake Factory."

Facts. If you’re a coffee shop, drip is dirt cheap even to toss half a pot. You keep a carafe hot and ready until close, and then ice it for the next day if need be.
Come on now.

Trump's affordability message: "You could even come to Mar-a-Lago. You'll be my guest. The problem is that for $5,000 the most you'll be able to buy is a hamburger and maybe a small dessert. I'm not even sure you could buy that! No, don't go there. It's not a good place if you're price conscious."

Mrs. Graham Nordone says her family suffered and died without health care and apparently thinks yours should too.
Call me crazy, but as a doctor, I believe there are few responsibilities more fundamental to government than keeping its citizens healthy and safe. No family should have to suffer simply because generations before them did.
Darline Graham: Government run health care…. bad idea after bad idea. Annie Andrews backs it all. I have a different background. My parents worked long, hard hours. If that were sick, they had to get up and go to work. My mother passed away when I was 11 and my father just over a year later.

She was there when Jeanine Pirro was investigating on site, you guys!
Meanwhile, the DOJ now admits that they just indicted with minuscule information from the Department of the Interior and when they got the rest of the info, they realized they never should’ve brought the case because there was no vandalism ever.
“DOI provided less than fulsome information at the outset of this case. However, the information subsequently demanded by USAO disclosed by DOI-which was not known to the prosecutors or the grand jury before the return of the indictment-strongly suggest that a rushed and botched installation by AIC, the primary contractor, led to the damage to the lining of the Reflecting Pool. It was not until USAO-DC repeatedly reached out to DOI dozens and dozens of times that DOI slowly started trickling information to USAO-DC. Had DOI been forthcoming with the information clearly in its possession, the government would not have sought a grand jury indictment.” justsecurity.org/wp-content/…
