As fellow children of our Heavenly Father, it would do us well to talk with and listen to the thoughts and ideas of those who donāt agree with us. If we do this with an open heart, weāll be blessed to understand one another and become a force for peace.

The Saviorās job is to heal. Our job is to loveāto love and minister in such a way that others are drawn to Jesus Christ.
Let us bring all our compassion, empathy, and love as we interact with those around us. President Russell M. Nelson has taught that those who are struggling āneed to experience the pure love of Jesus Christ reflected in [our] words and actions.ā As we minister, we encourage others frequently and offer help. Even if someone is not receptive, we continue to minister as they allow.
The Savior taught that āunto such shall ye continue to minister; for ye know not but what they will return and repent, and come unto me with full purpose of heart, and I shall heal them; and ye shall be the means of bringing salvation unto themā (3 Nephi 18:32). #GeneralConference

Elder Patrick Kearon (@patrickkearon) has been called as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was called on Thursday, December 7, 2023, and ordained later that day by President @NelsonRussellM and the other members of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.Ā
The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles is the second-highest presiding body in the government of the Church. In addition to their primary responsibility to be special witnesses of the name of Christ throughout the world, these Apostles have significant administrative responsibilities in overseeing the operation and development of a global Church. They serve under the direction of the First Presidency, which includes the Church President and two counselors.Ā

Visitors to Times Square were in for a surprise on Nov. 27 as its famous billboards became a larger-than-life tribute to the true reason for Christmas: Jesus Christ.
The billboard takeover at Times Square in New York City was part of Light the World, an annual movement to bring people from all over the world together to share the light of Jesus Christ during the Christmas season. The beautiful nativity scene that emerged from the blackout was a tender reminder of the Saviorās birth and why we need His light and love in our lives.
