CT is so fucked up that some of the most “successful” accounts in this space are simply people who got really good at using their influence to repeatedly extract money from their own followers through memes.
Somehow these are your idols.
They snipe memecoins and bundle them before everyone else, pass them around their inner circles, invent a shit narrative around them, then share them with thousands of followers who think they’re getting alpha.
Afterwards they come on X and write essays about their trades. They post charts. They do TA on fucking memes. They reflect on their wins and losses as if they were real traders documenting their journey.
Brother you just bought before everyone else and then told 200,000 people how bullish you were.
Most of these people don’t possess some magical trading ability that you lack.
They have influence, an inner circle, information advantages and, most importantly, the willingness to use other people as exit liquidity without caring.
The game looks very different when you’re playing from the front of the line.
This is what worries me most about CT.
Newcomers see accounts turning $10k into $100k or $100k into $1M and think
“If I study harder, trade better and find memes earlier, maybe I can do it too.”
So they gamble their savings trying to replicate a game they were never given the same pieces to play.
They don’t have the cabal. They don’t have the audience. They don’t get the token before everyone else. They can’t create liquidity with a tweet.
They’re playing a completely different game while thinking they’re competing in the same one.
There’s a massive difference between marketing and social manipulation.
There’s a massive difference between building distribution and weaponizing it against the people who trust you.
There’s also a massive difference between trading a market and having the ability to move the market you’re trading.
That distinction has basically disappeared on CT.
It’s become one huge bubble of bullshit where survivorship bias is presented as skill, gambling as trading, influence as alpha and extraction as entrepreneurship.
I am sure that 99.9% of you will not build lasting wealth trading memecoins.
Even among the tiny percentage who temporarily make life-changing money, many will eventually give most of it back because they never actually learned how to build wealth.
They learned how to gamble.
If you built your fortune turning 10 SOL into 100 SOL by taking insane risk, what do you think happens when you reach 1000 SOL?
You keep doing what got you there until eventually it takes it away.
Making money and building wealth are two completely different skills.
Build skills.
Build businesses.
Build relationships.
Build distribution without abusing it.
Own productive assets. Invest. Create things people actually value.
If you want to gamble sometimes, sure, gamble a bit and have a lot of fun bro.
Just don’t confuse the casino for the path to financial freedom. Gambling is a luxury.
A lucky streak can make you rich, but only a foundation will keep you rich.

today i genuinely thought about leaving crypto
the place i love has become drowned out with negativity, when was the last time you've seen an analytical take or thesis? closest would be ai or the collectibles market. those are interesting.
it's more common to run into drama and negativity
and if someone speaks about anything, they are shilling their bag
so what? wtf is wrong with that. speak about what you're passionate on. stop being a lame and caring so much about other men and women. focus inward.
look, here's the reality
there are not that many people left
and for good reason. why would anyone want to continue spending their time and energy here? so now we have a choice
we can either stop b*tching, stop "holding people accountable," that's just cope for crab bucket mentality, and focus on creating dope sh*t again
when did we all decide it was better to be the police of an invisible courtroom, than create? highlight things that are interesting
if there are no longer things that interest you, why are you here
if you despise certain accounts. frustrated at how some people somehow garner attention and get paid for it, stop giving them attention. you think you can create better? create. don't want to do that? put your time and energy towards people that push things forward.
blockchain is at the intersection of many interesting aspects of culture and life and we will only see that over the next years. we have to expand our horizon. we have to stop crying all the time. average age is 27 here. what are we doing?
this is the moment we make a choice. because if we continue down the path of sh*t, there will be nothing left. is that what you want? to see it all burn to the ground?
that's not what i want to see and ill keep working towards making it a fun place. that's always been my priority, for myself. but i need others who actually give af to shine light.
our time
the journey continues 🫡

we are overstimulated and we don’t even notice. netflix while eating. reels in the bathroom. music while cooking. podcasts on walks. we consume by default, not by intention. you keep filling every gap, then wonder why you feel foggy and unmotivated. boredom and silence are the real growth drivers. they give you space to think and create. that’s when solutions show up for problems that have been stuck for months. leave some room

ICOs will never peak like they did in 2017.
Altcoins will never peak like they did in 2021.
ETH NFTs will never peak like they did in 2022.
SOL NFTs will never peak like they did in 2023.
Ordinals will never peak like they did in 2024.
Memecoins will never peak like they did in 2025.
Every cycle gives you one window, one moment where a trend becomes undeniable, liquidity goes wild and everything prints until it doesn’t. And once that moment passes, it never comes back in the same form again.
People keep waiting for “the next version” of the last cycle trend, but that’s not how crypto works. The past never repeats, only the behaviour does. Euphoria hits, everyone thinks it lasts forever and then it dies just as quickly.
The traders who win aren’t the ones trying to revive old narratives, they’re the ones who spot the next wave early… ride it hard during peak mania… and exit before the music stops.
Learn to profit in trends while they’re alive — because once that euphoric window closes, it’s gone for good.

I have no pity for teams complaining about royalties when they raised $60m+ dollars selling NFTs
That's 60x to 600x what the average start up raises pre-seed, not including the tens of millions they made in royalties
Feels like people are finally realizing that team incentives don’t align with theirs:
> Teams want their company’s value to go up
> Holders want their NFTs’ value to go up
There's little correlation between the two
That’s why when teams hype up a “huge partnership” like we just saw with Doodles, Pudgies, and Apes, floors often drop after the announcement
Holders own zero equity.
Your Azuki’s price isn’t tied to the company’s value, just like a Charizard card doesn’t rise or fall with The Pokémon Company’s valuation
An NFT launch is a fundraising event.
A token launch is a fundraising event.
It all revolves around money.
Is that wrong? No. You’re here for money too, just on the other side of the trade
Would turning royalties back on fix this? No.
Royalties reward volume, not floor price
During Azuki’s crash from 32e to 6e, the team still made millions in royalties
Did that make me feel better as a holder? No. I lost $100k while the team made $5m+ to keep building
The hard truth: you’re a customer, not a community member
And you’re no longer a paying one. You won’t mint, buy a new token or pay royalties, so teams are moving on looking for new customers
It’s nothing personal. It’s just business.

BLOCKNADS IS A FREE MINT!
Two years ago, three co-founders decided to do something different - they decided to build a community that dared to do things differently.
We started with no funding, no roadmap hype, just conviction, curiosity, and a vision to build for the long run on Monad and shape the future of web3.
Since then, we’ve shown up every day - and it has been an amazing and inspiring ride as we’ve grown, failed, learned, shipped, and evolved together with YOU.
Here’s what we’ve done in just 2 years:
• Built one of the most organic and tight-knit communities
• Built @The_BlockBot which is the fastest and most intuitive Telegram trading bot on Monad
• Obviated the need for wallet address collection for whitelist mints via the invention of 0-WW™
• Explored a new way for public mint making botting almost impossible
• Started a company @BlockLabsX
• Created and open-sourced Gener8, helping creators automate NFT generation
• Partnered with builders and communities across and beyond Monad
• And refined our art over and over until it became one of the best and most distinct in web3.
We're proud of what we have achieved so far and we're grateful for the community we've built. Having a tight-knit and amazing community has always been our goal starting out, this made us decide on a limited supply of 999 from the get-go.
Every @BlockPermit holder was intentionally handpicked with transparency and we couldn't be more proud of the community we've built so far. This community was never about numbers, it has always been about people.
What we’ve built together is priceless, and you’ve proven that you truly can’t put a price on community.
That’s why we’re making BlockNads a completely FREE MINT. Mainnet to us isn’t a destination, it’s our takeoff point. We’re just getting started, and we’ll continue to build the future of web3 together.
More details on the mint structure soon. There'll be a public mint where everyone gets a chance at minting regardless of whitelist status.
From all of us; thank you for believing, building, and being part of this journey.
EXPLORATIONS ARE IN ORDER!

everyone is already aware of this
but sometimes you need to take a pause and appreciate how insane it is that Satoshi created crypto, didnt take any publicity for it, and then disappeared forever
no I mean like really stop and internalize how crazy and symbolic that is

Ngl bros, everyday I see so much wasted potential.
You're a few good decisions away from changing your entire career/life.
Lucky for us, we're in a space where if we lock in, we can change the trajectory of our life in a couple of months.
I believe all of us have the potential here to surprise ourselves.
Test yourself by actually making the difficult decisions which you're on the edge off.
Sometimes the risk pays off big time, and sometimes it doesn't, but that's part of the cycle.
Self-doubt will be your number 1 downfall.
