Aruma Split Garden by RAD+AR is a compelling exploration of split-level design, seamlessly integrating nature within a compact commercial footprint. Located in Jakarta, Indonesia, this 2500 sqm development addresses the challenges of rising land values by creating distinct zones for multiple tenants while preserving existing greenery. The design strategically orients the building along a north-south axis, optimizing natural light and airflow through a wind tunnel connecting two giant trees at the site’s ends. This approach enhances the spatial experience and minimizes energy consumption and material usage.
