Up to 40% of UK start-ups and scale-ups use SVB. It's a vital part of our start-up success. If the UK wants a world-class tech sector, it has to act today to ensure it's open for business tomorrow. Else very many jobs at risk this week and hundreds of thousands in the future.

Update: We are working with @ollieblears and team, and aiming to have an emergency loan SPV structure in place for founders and investment management companies facing liquidity issues by tomorrow evening. We'll also be providing the simple loan documents for free.

Ok, Econ junkies. Canada 🇨🇦 has roughly the same population as California 🐻, but an economy only about 60% the size. If California “acquired” Canada (mega state of 75M), would the GDP/capita of Canada rise to California levels? Why or why not?
