First of all im no expert on these apps. Clear that right away. But i am an expert on this other part: If youre funny in a way that isnt “this is a word you read online 100x” people dont get that its meant to be funny and wanna k!ll you
why do people do this? I’ve been out the game for a while, wife and I been together 7 years now. My buddy just got out of a ten year relationship that went south and he tells me similar shit. Everybody on every dating app is like “spicy brained hag from the swamp”

Lots of complaining about Johto "difficulty" on the timeline, but the biggest thing I'VE wanted to complain about difficulty-wise this year? #RemoveGeodudeFromGraniteCave

This is why your social life has to include a lot of low-stakes, mixed-gender, mixed-age interactions. Including at least one older couple who can say to clueless men "she's into you, dummy, go for it" and to women "stop saying that, you're scaring the men off"
I have a theory that a formal date is often actually a terrible setting for discovering attraction. Sitting across from someone with the explicit purpose of evaluating romantic chemistry can make it harder to feel. People are often much hotter incidentally, when you get to see them in their element

I genuinely think part of the issue with the level curve discourse stems from people compeletly underestimating how powerful some of their Pokémon are People be carrying nuclear bombs such as Tyranitar on their teams without even realizing it wrecks shit while being underleveled
So I replayed vanilla HGSS this year and I swear, you literally have to be purposefully blind to disregard the weird level curve the game has. If you think it's a non issue then more power to you ig but like genuinely look at my teams.

Yup, modern audiences are very literalist and this is affecting how art is produced as well. You can trace the evolution of fictional conceptions of teenagers by studying each iteration of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, for example.
People hate Romeo and Juliet as a result of its questionable romantic ethics because they haven't been taught not to care about that. Among other things, a massive part of English lit is to teach you not to care about that, to see lit as a work and not as a story.
