It's just not right when governments think they know better than the experts and want to control and kill our dogs for the sins of the few. You don't need to be an expert to see that judging on looks alone is WRONG and judging on HEIGHT is downright irrational #ENDBSL #halfaninch

Responsible dog ownership is about more than simply loving your dog. 🐾
It means understanding your responsibilities, keeping your dog properly identified, maintaining control in public, teaching reliable recall, and being considerate of other people, animals and the environment. This helpful guide from PDSA brings together some of the practical steps every dog owner should be taking -many of which can make a real difference to both dog welfare and public safety.
At Stop Breed for Greed, we believe responsible ownership should be supported by a system that makes it easier to identify dogs, trace their history and hold owners and breeders accountable when things go wrong.
Good ownership matters. But good systems matter too.

Today marks 35 years since the introduction of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
Stop Breed for Greed has always been clear that we do not support breed-specific legislation. As other groups continue to campaign against breed bans, we want to focus on what we believe could make a real difference - better traceability, greater accountability and a system that helps protect both people and dogs.
Our proposal is simple: every puppy registered on a centralised microchip and DNA database, creating a traceable record from breeder to owner.
This could help:
🐾 identify where a dog came from
🐾 hold breeders and owners accountable
🐾 tackle irresponsible and illegal breeding
🐾 identify dogs and their owners following an incident
🐾 give enforcement agencies better information
🐾 help prevent dogs being deliberately misidentified or passed from one owner to another without a trace
This isn't about one breed being more important than another. It's about recognising that any dog can be involved in an incident, and every dog should be traceable.
35 years on, with incidents still a concern it is time to look beyond breed and appearance, and consider a system that gives us better information, better accountability and a better chance of preventing problems in the first place.
One scan. One record. From breeder to owner.

Cub hunting or ‘cubbing’ is the highly secretive and illegal process by which new hounds are trained to hunt and kill foxes. Only the most trusted members of a hunt will be present during these seedy meetings whereby riders will assist new hounds to make a kill, by surrounding the area they are hunting and making a wall of noise to turn any fleeing foxes back.
However, sabs all over the country will be working tirelessly to successfully disrupt the cubbing season. This saves a lot of lives and can lead to the hounds not being fully trained, resulting in a poor season for the hunt.

Help Find This Scumbag!
This man brutally and repeatedly smashed a Seagull against the wall of the Harbour View Cafe in Truro because it tried to steal some food. He then stuffed the Seagull through the fence onto the road where if floundered with two broken wings.
This was in front of numerous people and children who were hugely upset.

STARVED DOG SKYLAR TO SKELETON BEFORE SHE COLLAPSED AND DIED AVOIDS JAIL ‼️‼️‼️
Hoyte-Griffiths, who also goes by Ebony Griffiths, was convicted after her dog, Skylar, was found collapsed, skeletal, dehydrated and beyond saving following months of starvation and untreated illness.Skylar, a four‑year‑old Staffy, had a body condition score of one out of nine. She was too weak to stand, her muscles wasted away, and her pressure sores were infected. EBONY HOYTE‑GRIFFITHS,
Despite emergency treatment, she deteriorated overnight and was euthanised the next day.
Hoyte‑Griffiths denied wrongdoing and offered no explanation for Skylar’s prolonged suffering.
She claimed Skylar had been eating normally until the previous night — a claim completely contradicted by veterinary evidence showing three to six months of neglect.
She also failed to return for follow‑up treatment despite being eligible for PDSA‑funded care.
Hoyte‑Griffiths was found guilty at #Croydon Magistrates’ Court on 24 July 2026.
Sentence— 12‑month community order— 200 hours unpaid work— £614 costs— 10‑year ban on keeping dogs
SKYLAR DESERVED BETTER
Starved. Weak. In pain. Left to deteriorate behind closed doors. No explanation. No remorse. Skylar’s story is a stark reminder of the appalling cruelty helpless animals can face — and it must not be forgotten.
