Want to visit Shanghai Disneyland & Universal Beijing without a visa? Here’s how our aunt & uncle are doing it using China’s 10-day visa-free transit policy ✈️🇨🇳 They flew from Los Angeles to Shanghai and are spending 9 days exploring mainland China. On Day 9, they’ll leave mainland China for Hong Kong to visit Hong Kong Disneyland and do some sightseeing before flying back to Los Angeles. Our aunt told us the process was pretty Easy! They just needed to show the border officer their hotel bookings and their plane ticket to Hong Kong, and that was it! Just remember: You must leave mainland China within 10 days and have a qualifying onward ticket to another country or region to be eligible. Note: We already have Chinese visas ($140 for 10 year), so the immigration officer stamped our passports instead of issuing a transit visa sticker. Our process was straightforward! They just asked what’s the purpose of your China visit, and we just said sightseeing. That was it! We didn’t need to show hotel bookings or onward flight tickets since we had already completed the QR arrival card declaration 🧵
