Alex Matan's case for City SC team MVP:
City's record with him in lineup since he joined team: 8-0-5
City's record without him: 0-3-1
What a dumb take. Ask the @Cardinals what radio means to the franchise? They have a huge, loyal following. Radio connects generations & remains a powerful platform for reaching all demos. Why would MLB abandon a platform that delivers value to teams, advertisers, and fans?
Replying to @DavidPSamson
@DavidPSamson says MLB no longer needs radio: "We don't need baseball on radio anymore." The former Marlins president predicts on Nothing Personal that "radio will go the way of Kodak and Blockbuster." @JohnMamola has more. #MLB

Congrats to the @Brewers on one of the most dominant World Series wins. This is truly one of the best teams I’ve seen. They earned that with a relentless lineup that seemingly had 3 guys on every inning, starting pitchers that stacked up zero after zero, and a bullpen that was absolutely stifling. Really impressive. @MLBONFOX

A St Louis woman has caught a recording breaking fish in British Columbia.
It's an 11 ft. 4 in. white sturgeon.
It's officially the largest freshwater fish ever caught by a female angler at 1,200 pounds.
The fish was tagged and released.

I would argue it’s far worse. Woodward and Arnold were following the greatest generation in the history of #ManUtd. Berrada and Wilcox are following Woodward and Arnold. What are we doing here???
Ratcliffe said last year, 'I wouldn’t have tolerated Ed Woodward or Richard Arnold.'
Yet Berrada and Wilcox are uncannily mimicking the old regime #mufc

The last #WorldSeries walk-off win facing elimination?
David Freese, 15 years ago today 👀
OTD 15 years ago, David Freese was the definition of CLUTCH 😤
Down to their last strike in Game 6 of the World Series, he delivered a game-tying 2-run triple and followed that up with an 11th-inning walk-off home run to send the series to a Game 7. The @Cardinals would go on to become World Series champions!

Beautiful BMWx4 in downtown.
It just occurred to me that if we collected all the unpaid sales and property taxes from these unregistered cars we might not have to ask for tax increases to pay for day care and senior services.

The majority of MLB owners and general managers have no idea why the Brewers are the best team in baseball.
I will give them a hint.
It has nothing to do with hiring Driveline employees.
It has very little to do with data and analytics.
It has a lot to do with real baseball guys and basic fundamentals.

After a lot of thought and consideration, I’ve decided to shut down my recruitment and fully focus on my commitment to the University of Missouri. I’m grateful for every coach, program, and opportunity that has been part of this journey, and I’m excited for what’s ahead at Mizzou. MIZ! 🐯

Truth 👇
The Brewers are being celebrated like they invented baseball.
They are doing things that have become unusual.
They have an old school tough manager who players love playing for.
They focus on basic easy to understand basic fundamentals.
They have a hitting coach that was an overachieving player for skill that played in the big leagues.
They hit the ball the other way.
They value putting the ball in play.
They adjust their approach based on situation and count.
They are not addicted to exit velocity and launch angle bullshit.
They bunt and steal bases.
They do not have selfish superstars that need to be treated like celebrities.
The Brewers simply play the game how it was meant to be played.
This is 100% true. Get to January and move the players who don’t live up to the expectations, no matter the name on jersey
Get the media out of the locker room. I’ve worked around professional teams my entire career and have never seen the media onslaught at #ManUtd
