Subho Guru Purnima Baba & Maa 🖤 I can't exactly explain in words whatever I have witnessed, questioned, got answers, nimityas...The constant questioning of everything that challenged the very sense of advait. Questioning the basic statvik padhatis, niyam, achar, vichar, shastras

Those of us advocating tax cuts should also identify spending cuts. We cannot make popular demands, leave the hard choices to the government, and then blame it for the consequences of following our advice. In my view, capex offers the only meaningful scope, up to ₹1 lakh crore. Fiscal discipline should be non-negotiable.

Competency is considered a disability for our military acquisition programmes.
Genius-level strategic thinking: You have a requirement for 400+ helicopters, but split the orders 200 + 200 one for your own platform and the other for screwdrivering a foreign helicopter that is getting retired by even Pakistanis 😅 Why give your private industry ToT for the same platform and aggregate volumes when you can fragment demand, dilute economies of scale, and keep everyone happy except the cause of Atmanirbharta?

Mobile PLI stats as follows: Government incentive paid: Rs 19,000 Cr. Direct tax collected: Rs 25,000 Cr. GST collected: Rs 3,00,000 Cr. Electronics manufacturing employs 25 Lakh people; mobile manufacturing alone employs 12 Lakh. Cope harder!!

Felt a tinge of nostalgia & lots of pride visiting @indiannavy #Swavlamban2026 today. Great to be back among the innovators & the Navy ecosystem #NIIO #TDAC that has grown so much since the 1st edition when the 75 #SPRINT challenges were launched by the Hon’ble PM @narendramodi. The products are now developed, inducted & some even proved their mettle in #OpSindoor! I Will be sharing posts on the firms I interacted with over the next few days. At the entrance itself I saw Matangi (the Autonomous Weaponised Boat Swarm / Autonomous Surface Vessel by @SagarDefence). This is by now a familiar success story of indigenous unmanned maritime capability that needs little introduction. I loved the caption on the boat “this is what ordinary boys from indian villages can dream” !!! Yes, indeed. This and much more👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻@Nikunj_Parashar @Mdlski @dang_lakshay. Right next to it, at the entrance itself, was an interesting setup from Combat Robotics @CombatRobIndia (Pune). I think it looks (😉😂) like a rugged cable/hose reel system marked “for tough conditions”. Anyone know the exact application they’re demonstrating for the Navy? Any guesses? #AtmanirbharBharat @India_iDEX @SIDMIndia @ramesh569108 @alpha_defense @AadiAchint @singhANAGH

Post 3 on #Swavlamban2026. At the @dpropulse stall. Young startup. Good results in quick time. Impressive progress on what is probably India’s first indigenous air-breathing Rotating Detonation Engine. They hot-fired a 5 kN class RDE (with aerospike) at DRDL earlier this year, reaching TRL-5. IIT Madras-incubated, led by @SJha1618 & Dr Ramanujachari (CTO, former DRDO, scramjet expert). Compact, higher-efficiency propulsion with real potential for high-speed munitions and UAVs. Huge potential for collaboration with other startups and even DPSUs. #AtmanirbharBharat @indiannavy @SIDMIndia @sriramthg

The Mou with Sarvam AI is an important step to achieving sensor fusion, sensor to shooter loop, to train a sovereign model using military data. Next would be to get this the model to fly (manage the compute, thermal, power requirements) as Dassault is doing in preparation of the Rafale F5.

An article high on rhetoric and low on facts. The armed forces of the country are rooted in the ethos and narrative of the country. What’s wrong with quoting in Sanskrit or from Ramayan. Which country you live in Kamerad.
Many bangers in the @ajaishukla piece about the Hindutva-isation of the military brass but this one: For no apparent reason, the IAF appears to be more Sanskrit-ised than the other two services. One wag at a recent seminar commented, “it might be because they serve closer to God”
