A 3 min film of our meadow now in early summer - if you donated to rescue it last autumn, sit back with a cup of tea (or something stronger) and enjoy what you saved! Good work..If you didn't, you still can!

When a war on nature is part of the government’s narrative this sort of thing happens.
Nature is essential! Nature is our life support system, it is so precious.
It should never be used as a political tool.
This feels like a symbol for all that is wrong with the U.K. just now. – at South East, England
We are shocked and desperately saddened to learn that the famous Sycamore Gap tree at Hadrian's Wall has been felled overnight, in what appears to be an act of vandalism.
We know just how much this iconic tree is loved locally, nationally and by everyone who has visited.
We are working with our partners to understand what has happened and what can be done.
The incident has also been reported to the police.
ALT Sycamore Gap. A tree grows between two small hills on a summer's day.
The first Rewilding anthem perhaps?? 🎶😍 Happy memories of the brilliant symposium last weekend... Thanks to our trustee @SarahDeereJone1 for writing this especially..👏👏

When is it going to stop? 😢
In the home of #WildIsles in Bristol, @HomesEngland plan to build houses on these historic meadows.
In this place I watch over-wintering kestrels, listen to spring birdsong, soak up summer evenings and pick autumn blackberries.
We cannot destroy this.
