Thanks to Sean Quinn for his time. What struck me - when THE most success entrepreneur Ireland has ever produced ultimately can’t make it work, questions need to be asked. #whistleblowers

I always wonder why the opposition parties hardly ever discuss Ireland’s links 🔗 to child trafficking & Epstein in particular & the curious Alan Merriman (a main character in the Irish banking crash) resignation from Elkstone early this year & his connections & Co Investment’s with Enterprise Ireland along with Nicole Junkermann & then I wonder what was agreed in Washington DC 2024 during St Patrick’s day celebrations-
Replying to @cahillbooks
Funny how the opposition have zero interest in the only resignation in Ireland 🇮🇪 Alan Merriman from Elkstone because of his Co Investments with Jeffery Epstein pictured here with Mary Lou and Jeffery Donaldson on Paddy’s week 2024 - no MSM even reported on the files he was mentioned in.
I know @MarianHarkin , @MichealMartinTD @OCallaghanJim @SenatorMcDowell @EUCssrMcGrath are fully aware of the fraud that family farms are subsiding. The defrauding of Irish and European taxpayers.

You should enquire how many AGs, civil servants, solicitors, barristers and judges have opined on VAT fraud in our agricultural sector - it was / is ongoing but is apparently not a matter that is in the public interest - all designed by @kpmg to favour “cronies and vested interests”.
Millions of euros between time spent & “professional fees” - most definitely a misnomer in these sorry events.
And all these individuals are funded by the same taxpayers, who are being defrauded.
You gotta try this some time?
Reliably informed that @talktoBOI is on notice that debt is being serviced from their customers obtaining proceeds from a fraudulent VAT scheme
This is notice that @talktoBOI has loan repayments that are coming from a tax fraud funded, in the end, by the same taxpayers who then pay the professional fees to barristers who claim it doesn’t matter and the salary of a judge who says (in best D4 accent) that this is not in the public interest.
All legals will baulk at their integrity being questioned, as indeed Senan Allen did.
A bank that is on notice and keeps taking the proceeds of a fraudulent scheme is not in the same position as a lender who simply has a farmer customer @alomohan
Taking those repayments, applying them to the loan, and treating the facility as clean credit is dealing with property the bank has been told is tainted.
Enquire how that notice of VAT fraud proceeds was handled internally — credit, legal, internal audit and AML — and whether the repayments can still be booked as ordinary debt service.
Where / who are the external auditors?
Wait! @KPMG_Ireland - the Big4 who designed the scheme back in the day. I wonder when it will own up to it and confirm the motivations.
Or will this be another tale for @claudinecassar ?
As I have been saying, we are not serious country when Revenue, a pillar bank and Legals & judges work together to whitewash such schemes. @NiamhParker4
Maybe some professional of integrity out in the @kpmg world might see another brewing scandal before the documentary comes out. We live in hope.

I have spent the last few weeks building Public Purse Ireland.
Its aim is simple. List every line item of government expenditure with the supplier, description and the amount, starting with grants and purchase orders.
No fancy charts, no broad economic strokes, but just there in black and white.
The information is out there, scattered and hidden on the web. Public Purse brings it under one roof.

Having conducted some research into the Anglo / Quinn affair, it is now worth questioning how much information you had - given the striking similarities with the hidden credit line scandals and how the destruction of the Quinn Group is looking very much like an unlawful “loan to own” scheme, using executives on the inside and lawyers on the outside to have Quinn follow certain directions.

If you would be so kind as to spare us the sermon about “culture change” and giving Irish people a “stake in the markets”.
🔹Under governments you served in and led, many Irish citizens were fundamentally treated as a “convenient cash machine”.
🔹Ulster Bank - the Irish arm of RBS/NatWest, a British bank bailed out by UK taxpayers - ran its Global Restructuring Group operation here.
🔹Viable Irish SMEs were moved into GRG, having been sold swaps fraudulently under the guise of “protection”.
🔹There were complex hidden break costs and undisclosed commissions. No suitability assessments - followed by benchmark rate rigging to trigger LTV breaches;
🔹All to facilitate the parent of Ulster Bank (RBS) to shore up its own balance sheet.
🔹Of more than 2,000 Irish SME connections put through that process, apparently vanishingly few came out intact.
🔹Were there any? And if so why did these yet unknown entities get special treatment?
🔹Loans were then packaged and sold to vulture funds, which is asset-stripping of Irish businesses and the families behind them, permitted on your watch.
🔹At the same time the tracker mortgage scandal - the biggest consumer overcharging episode in the history of the State - unfolded.
🔹Tens of thousands of accounts were denied the tracker rates they were entitled to.
🔹People paid thousands extra every year. Dozens of family homes were lost. Lives were lost.
🔹Ulster Bank, the same bank that gave you your own 40-year 100% tracker, was among those involved. Redress was slow and incomplete.
🔹You called the behaviour “scandalous” in 2017, yet the culture you like to speak of - was a culture of banks overcharging & it persisted, with a captured ineffective regulator watching on.
🔹Research shows that overcharging on standard variable rate mortgages commenced well before the so-called crisis, given the desperate measures required to conceal long running insolvency;
🔹I take some relief in the fact that I contacted you directly in relation to my substantiated protected disclosures from my time on the Banking Inquiry.
🔹When the full truth of what was allowed to happen under your watch - & that of your party colleagues - emerges, you will therefore not have the comfort of plausible deniability.
🔹You are now speaking of an SIA - inviting again unsuspecting parties to come on down and get a “stake in the markets” - the very capital markets that caused the destruction of so much generational wealth across Ireland;
🔹this is ongoing through use of synthetic securitisations - whereby the characteristics of the bilateral contracts taken on by new homeowners - are transformed into something that benefits those same capital markets - invisible & detrimental to these borrowers;
🔹Lecturing the public about household wealth after Irish assets, businesses and family homes were used to repair foreign balance sheets & after years of documented overcharging that is ongoing and unrecognised, is tone-deaf.
🔹Accountability first? Then perhaps talk about “culture change”. Please share.
