If that doesn't bother you then fine, but that's exactly what it is
I get these offers from Kalshi, I tell them no
First, full disclosure, as always: Kalshi is a sponsor on our show. So people will take any opinion with a grain of salt, which is fine. But at the heart of the Kalshi question is a simpler one: what’s the difference between a prediction market and a traditional betting platform, like DraftKings? I asked Tarek Mansour that question directly. Here’s his answer.

Feminists are concerned that submission allows husbands to force subjugation. But biblical submission actually instills intense responsibility in men - one in which he wants to be the very best for his wife. The irony is that the rebellious wife actually gets what she fears.

The year is 1873. Your wife tires easily and reads too much. The doctor prescribes the rest cure: six weeks flat in bed, no books, no visitors, fed on milk, forbidden to sit up without his permission. The man who devised it is the most famous nerve specialist in America, and the women come out of it quieter, which is taken as the cure.
The year is 1915. The hospital has a new way of delivering your child. Morphine, then scopolamine, and the mother wakes two days later with a baby she cannot remember having. They call it twilight sleep. The women are strapped into padded cots so they do not hurt themselves while they scream, and the straps are the modern part. The babies arrive blue and slow to breathe.
The year is 1945. The truck comes down your street fogging DDT, and the children run behind it in the white cloud because the man on the back says it is harmless. At the beach it is sprayed over the bathers on their towels. It goes on the cattle, over the barn, and across the kitchen table.
The year is 1948. Your son has trouble with his ears. The doctor slides a rod tipped with radium up each nostril and holds it there for the best part of ten minutes, and you bring him back three more times. Hundreds of thousands of American children get the same treatment. The cancers arrive in their fifties.
The year is 1962. The health visitor tells you breastfeeding is old-fashioned and the formula is scientific. By 1972 fewer than one American baby in four is breastfed at all. The formula is skimmed milk and sugar, with the milk fat taken out and vegetable oil put in.
The year is 1971. The family planning clinic fits a small plastic crab called the Dalkon Shield. Its tail is a bundle of fibres that wicks bacteria up into the womb. 2.8 million are fitted in America before it is withdrawn, and the company goes bankrupt under the claims. It had been sold as safe and superior.
The year is 1983. The doctor says your arteries are the butter's fault. The dripping tin goes in the bin, the yolks go to the dog, the margarine goes in the fridge, and you have the heart attack anyway, on skimmed milk, having done everything right.
The year is 2001. Your 15-year-old is low, and the doctor prescribes Paxil, because the trial in the journal says it is effective and well tolerated in adolescents. The raw data, reanalysed 14 years later, shows more suicidal thinking on the drug than on the sugar pill. The company pays $3 billion to settle. Nobody rings the house.
The year is 2009. The government has spent around £500 million stockpiling Tamiflu for the pandemic, on the strength of the manufacturer's trials. When the trials are finally prised loose five years later, the drug shortens flu by about half a day and nothing shows it keeps anyone out of hospital. The stockpile goes out of date in a warehouse.
The year is 2026. The doctor has ten minutes and a screen. The number is high, so the tablet is for life. The weight is high, so the injection is for life. The meat is bad for the planet and the oil is good for the heart, and the person in the chair is as certain as everyone who ever sat in it.
Every one of those was settled, by a committee, in a journal, with a doubter somewhere being laughed at. The rest cure, the straps, the fog, the rod, the formula, the crab, the margarine, the trial, the stockpile. All of it certain, all of it printed, all of it done to somebody who had asked for help.
You were never the one who was wrong. You were the one it was done to, and the only person in the story who did as they were told every single time.
The apology comes a generation late, in a footnote, addressed to nobody.
The next one is being drafted now.

On "VOTING FOR THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS"
If godly people refuse to vote for the LESSER of 2 evils, godless people will vote to ensure you, your children, and your grandchildren get the GREATER of 2 evils.
NEWSFLASH: You will be voting for a "lesser of two evils" until Jesus returns.
Wise Christians can differentiate between a FALLEN candidate and an EVIL candidate.
FALLEN CANDIDATE: Has personal sin in his / her life.
EVIL CANDIDATE: Leads entire communities, states, and nations to sin.

The greatest ills of modern Christianity (coming from an ex atheist, coming back to protestantism, and now Catholic) is the lack of accountability given to women over their own soul. It has boggled my mind for a decade.
It has infiltrated every denomination to some capacity. They will say things like men need to be the leader and lead the family in faith to heaven.
Yet, they refuse to live up to those demands themselves and blame men for that reason. Leadership has become a cop out. A man doesn't lead the way she wants? He's the problem.
Your husband will not be there when you face Christ at the gates of heaven. YOU will have to account for YOUR behavior, sins, faith and obedience to Christ. The men are not the arbiters and those responsible for your own soul.
There is this weird obsession over how much can Christians put everything on men, and get away with blaming only them. Men are shown no grace. Women are shown infinite.
Men must live up to the standards not of Christ, but of women and their personal beliefs. They're ever changing. Never fruitful. When men don't meet these demands, they are called failed leaders.
The reality is though, the men's souls will be sanctified in Christ. They will not be punished for their perceived failures from those living "of" the world.
The Pharisees still live on today. They just wear much different outfits, and have a much different school of thought.
So all of the women believe Ephesians 5 from Holy Scripture is “weaponized” in terms of submitting.
Good luck men. You have the obligations of a man to lead, provide, protect, lead your household to heaven, but she has no obligation to submit unless she feels like you’re worthy of submission.
Feminism is so deeply weaponized and capitulated to in all of Christianity at this point that I don’t know how to fix it.
Almost no priests, pastors or organizations will stand up to a woman.
Their obligations are based on how they feel. Like a buffet when it comes to obeying Christ and Holy Scripture.

One of THE most common things I hear from men in dead bedroom.
Mom losing sense of independence/autonomy because of kids (avoidant women lose their minds at this point in life)
Man's work life is belittled because it's not "home with kids" therefore it is like a small vacation.
Man does a giant chunk of the domestic work, including all cooking, grocery shopping, etc. This goes against the standard trope of the "lazy husband who does nothing at home". Ironically, stay-at-home dads who do ALL the domestic labor tend to have even higher rates of dead bedrooms. But that's for another post...

Twice in the last 5 or so years, I have gotten into conversations with coworkers who have learned that I am pretty right wing and a christian. They are usually surprised because I joke around and swear a lot, which maybe I should work on, but thats not the point here.
What happens is that we start talking about it, and in both cases, the coworkers were either atheist or vaguely agnostic. They start interrogating me from the classic George Carlin/reddit atheist stance. Its exhausting. But what I find is that when I turn it back to them and ask them what they believe in, they don't have an answer.
They do the meme. "Be a heckin good person" is essentially what they say. They've sincerely never thought about it. They don't really have a belief system beyond rational self-interest. They are floating through life like this. They don't feel the need to construct or deconstruct a belief system. They are content to carry out the programming they have absorbed without much question.
They always claim to be political centrists and make sure to point out that they want fiscal responsibility (they never have any idea what this would look like or take and constantly vote for people who don't hide their intentions to spend wildly).
On the religious side, I will start to ask them philosophical and theological questions, to which they seem to not even understand. They think its weird to even think about or discuss these things. They may have learned about Aristotle but only in a biographical sort of way. They've ever actually had discourse or been challenged about this stuff.
As eigenrobot says. They don't have any beliefs to interrogate. These people could be conditioned to consent to mass killings with 2 years or less of really good propaganda

Church feminists:
“I feel like submission is so weaponized because you often see people talking about the submission part without recognizing the call that men are supposed to die to themselves for their wives”
And what are women called to do for their husbands? Apparently nothing.
I really don’t understand how so many supposedly devout Christian women fight against submission so hard. What exactly is being asked of them by men that is so incredibly hard to follow? What exactly is being weaponized? Unless you’re getting beaten up or something extreme like that what’s so hard about listening to your husband if you know you are biblically instructed to do so? Do you not trust the man you married? Do you just want to argue and create a contentious marriage for entertainment?
It would be far more honest if they just came out and said they don’t believe in female submission at all. Instead they have to say all these nonsensical things about how a man needs to be basically Jesus himself in order for them to even consider listening to him. Heck, just by saying that they’re not even listening to God already! So why would they listen to a man if they can’t listen to God himself?
These women need some kind of training that breaks down all that unnecessary pride that they have, and Christian men should be extremely wary of women that speak like this.
So all of the women believe Ephesians 5 from Holy Scripture is “weaponized” in terms of submitting.

There was once a shepherd who found a wolf caught in a snare at the edge of his pasture.
The wolf begged to be freed.
“I was hungry,” it said. “That is all. Spare me, and I will remember your mercy!”
The shepherd cut the rope.
The next night, three lambs were gone.
Again the shepherd found the wolf. Again it pleaded. Again the shepherd convinced himself that mercy was proof of his goodness.
By winter, half the flock was dead.
An old farmer finally asked him, “Why do you keep freeing it?”
The shepherd answered, “Because I refuse to become cruel.”
The farmer looked at the empty field and said, “Then understand what you have done. You were not merciful to the wolf. You were cruel to everything that trusted you to keep them safe.”
That’s the lesson.
Mercy without judgment isn’t virtue. When someone openly intends to destroy what has been entrusted to you, endless forgiveness doesn’t make you righteous. It makes everyone behind you pay for your vanity.

Why are men like Brian Sauve and Eric Conn considered evil and wicked by so many Mid-Eva types today, while Samuel Sey is treated as a hero, martyr, and all-around good man?
Sey broke the law.
Sey lived in our country illegally for four years.
Sey has lied about it publicly.
Sey is an unrepentant slanderer.
Sey has spent years lying about, slandering, and attacking faithful brothers.
The Bible condemns these things, yet Sey gets a free pass. Even when his sins are clearly shown, they are dismissed and ignored.
Why?
Because his sins are committed against non-liberals. Anything is permissible if it is used to harm illiberal people.
Why?
Because the true religion of Mid-Eva and her concubines is Liberalism.
Not Christianity.

I’m in a very small minority of dads that get let out of the house after work and it’s to go play table tennis. I was talking about it with another dad and we both concluded that both of our wives seem to crash out when they’re home alone with the kids for extended periods of time in a way that we just don’t. Like we have no issues putting on Bluey, airfrying the nice Costco chicken nuggets, passing out some crayons and cracking a beer.
My wife plays volleyball in a women’s league once a week and nobody notices or cares when she’s gone. When I go play table tennis once a week I literally have my kids begging me not to go and my wife quietly hoping I’ll just skip it. It’s not that there’s some conspiracy against men or anything, it’s just what seems to be happening in families these days.
For instance, I have met a lot of dads that were into Warhammer growing up, and there’s interest in starting to play together, but I just don’t see too many guys with the ability to, build, paint, and play an army.
I guess what I’m getting at is that there’s an almost autistic fixation on fairness when it comes to getting to do extracurricular activities and a lot of couples seem to find parity by doing absolutely nothing, that way there’s no argument about who’s getting out of the house more. This leads us to our current situation where married ppl just socialize a lot less than they used to.

I’ve told the story on here that on one of my hockey teams, there’s 2-3 dads who hang for a beer or two after our games then get the text telling them to get home and they damn near burn rubber out of the parking lot

This has been probably the darkest 24 hours I’ve ever experienced on social media in my life. The things being said about Samuel, his wife, and his small children are unthinkably evil. There is a segment of the so-called “Christian” nationalist crowd that has given itself completely over to Satan. I’ve never had more resolve to defeat these subversive demons invading the Right and invading Christianity.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Joel Berry has promoted deportation of illegal immigrants that he doesn’t know. Suddenly he opposes it in this case since he’s sympathetic to the person who’s being deported. This is inconsistent.
