For years, my dad battled Parkinson’s disease. On Election Night, I got to tell him, “Pop, we won.”
This morning, he passed away.
A part of me believes he held on just long enough to see his son make it to Congress.
He won’t be there when I’m sworn in. But I know he’ll be standing right beside me.
Rest easy, Daddy. I’ll take it from here. These next two years are for you ❤️

His first response to a Democratic landslide that he had little to do with is to bleat about finding ‘bipartisan common ground’. Do you think Republicans would be talking about bipartisanship if they had just secured the biggest House majority for decades?
Sigh.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said that his party is “ready, willing and able to find bipartisan common ground” in order to work with Republicans on the ongoing affordability crisis. abcnews.visitlink.me/ymEF7Q

6’5 Sophomore PG Jordan Watford put together a very impressive all around performance in his team’s win against Winthrop.
Watford finished with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals while shooting 10-15 from the field.
The 19 year old PG was one of the top returning mid major players after a strong freshman campaign and continued off that with a strong showing of his finishing and playmaking ability.
He took advantage of his size, athleticism and strength to get to his spots for himself and his teammates at the rim, and using his passing vision. Watford also impacted the game on the defensive end and played with a high motor on both ends.

Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026).

If you don’t understand why a fragile metal tube slamming into the earth at 700+ mph combined with a massive fuel tank didn’t leave debris…
You should be sent back to school.
I don’t get it — I’m genuinely curious to where any of the plane wreckage is. That just looks like a massive empty crater.

A Learjet 60 crashed here on Nov 1, killing all 9 aboard. The FAA says it fell from 35,000 ft in about a minute, and a nose-first impact at that speed shatters a jet into small pieces. Officials say debris was scattered widely, with part of it on a nearby lawn.
