For years, my dad battled Parkinson’s disease. On Election Night, I got to tell him, “Pop, we won.”
This morning, he passed away.
A part of me believes he held on just long enough to see his son make it to Congress.
He won’t be there when I’m sworn in. But I know he’ll be standing right beside me.
Rest easy, Daddy. I’ll take it from here. These next two years are for you ❤️

6’5 Sophomore PG Jordan Watford put together a very impressive all around performance in his team’s win against Winthrop.
Watford finished with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals while shooting 10-15 from the field.
The 19 year old PG was one of the top returning mid major players after a strong freshman campaign and continued off that with a strong showing of his finishing and playmaking ability.
He took advantage of his size, athleticism and strength to get to his spots for himself and his teammates at the rim, and using his passing vision. Watford also impacted the game on the defensive end and played with a high motor on both ends.
