The Ringer founder Bill Simmons allegedly made $21,800 in proxy bets through FanDuel using his daughter’s boyfriend in Massachusetts. State regulators are investigating the 22 wagers and plan to hold a hearing on how FanDuel handled the situation. Via @Covers | ow.ly/NuHi5104vz4

“It’s early, yet the positioning has begun for the league’s most desired individual award. Stats matter, obviously — being among the leaders in scoring or rebounds or assists or blocks will get you considered. And those who rank in multiple categories will get heavy consideration." I too prefer Remake’s punisher mode. Can confirm that the punisher mode in Revelation is the same as Rebirth.

Rebirth was a huge improvement kver remake when it came to combat But holy shit its such a crime against humanity on what they did with Punisher mode in RebirtH. BRING IT BACK!!!

Love to see more Tifa crossover! Keep it coming! Sephiroth will still make his way in at some point - Cloud is here - it’s inevitable.

Time to rant: I've seen multiple NBA commentators say that ultimately what's going to decide MVP is team records/team success. They're not wrong. But I'll always disagree w the premise that this is how we should determine an individual award. And w all these early season injuries, we're really seeing how silly this premise is. SGA won MVP two years in a row. All of the sudden he's not as valuable bc his teammates got hurt? That seems stupid. Luka knows this problem all too well. And analysts are now basically saying this Lakers bench isn't strong enough for Luka to win MVP. Literally WUT. If Stephon Castle goes down, Wemby is less valuable? No way. I just wish we put a lot more weight on the individual play for this individual award rather than defaulting to 'team success.' I get that's how it's always been done but I think it's always been lazy. The reward for team success is (checks notes) team success! Which is ultimately what these guys are chasing. Lord it's only Monday lol

Should be a front runner for GOTY but Twitter discourse did its thing. I’ve pumped over 300 hrs into this game and loved every bit of it! Can’t wait to jump back in!

I have finally started playing Crimson Desert. I am absolutely speechless with how crazy this game is, technology wise. The draw distance is mindblowing.

Weak faces the viewer, looking off to the side with a tense expression. He grips a revolver with both hands and wears dark pants, a combat vest, a gray coat, and round red lenses over his eyes. Behind him, V holds a pistol in each hand, his arms spread wide as he aims in opposite directions. He wears a Samurai jacket, dark jeans, and sneakers. A Night City street lined with towering buildings fills the background, with smoke swirling around the characters. The Edgerunners 2 Update branding and the Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition logo are also visible.

My biggest takeaway from the FF7 Revelation demo is that Vincent is an aerial GOD! Vincent has insane aerial abilities and the easiest launcher in the game. He also has agility like Tifa, so once in the air he can zip around and kill from a distance while avoiding taking damage

The PSVR2 is pretty limited for PlayStation users, but hook it up to a PC and it bangs
Chris Scullion (@scully1888) profile pictureChris Scullion@scully1888Oct 8
I maintain that PlayStation VR2 was the biggest scandal of this generation (from a consumer standpoint of course, not the obvious endless layoffs). £530 for something that effectively became unsupported from day one after the Horizon game came out.

this really hurts. my best friends mother passed away yesterday morning. she was a very big part of my life especially after my parents divorced at a young age and meant a great deal to me. she shared a lot of our obsessions from kingdom hearts to final fantasy and even watched us play many games. i'm sharing a support fund below to help the family in their time of need. anything helps really, this came out of nowhere and devastated their household. im still having trouble processing all of this myself but my thoughts are prayers are with them and im going to do everything i can to help. thank you everyone ❤️ please share if you can. i love you all.
