Most apps say "we won't harvest your data" and point to their terms. That's a promise, and promises can be changed. Komms is built so the promise isn't needed. The architecture decides what we can see, not a policy page. Start on your device. Private messages and files are encrypted and signed locally, before anything leaves. Your keys and decryption stay with you. Komms never holds the keys, so we can't read private content even if we wanted to. Next, where the data goes. Encrypted content is stored on Hippius, #Bittensor Subnet 75, as ciphertext. The storage network holds data it can't open. Nobody in the chain of custody has the means to read it. #Kaspa records the order, timestamps and references. Never message content. Plaintext never goes on-chain. What's public is proof that something was sent and when, not what it said. Then the indexing layer. The Komms subnet is built to index activity and power search, with an open network of operators scored by validators. It works on references and encrypted data, not on your private plaintext. Public channels are different, by design. They're readable by anyone, like an open forum, with verifiable authorship and tamper-proof ordering. Private stays encrypted. Public stays readable. The line is enforced by keys, not by policy. Compare "trust us" with "verify it." A policy can change after you've signed up. A system where Komms holds no decryption keys and plaintext never touches the chain can't be quietly reconfigured to read your private messages. This also means no single company can switch you off or lock you out of your history. Your business owns its data, not a platform. Decentralisation is what makes the privacy claim hold up. The point: a privacy promise is only as strong as the architecture behind it. Komms is built so that not harvesting your data is a property of the system, not a clause in our terms. Communication you can verify. $TAO $KAS

Big tech has data centers. Komms has an open network. 🌐 A giant company needs thousands of employees and its own servers to run communication at scale. Komms takes a different route. Here's the architecture, simply: 🔐 Your device encrypts and signs everything locally 📦 Hippius (Bittensor Subnet 75) stores the encrypted files ⏱️ Kaspa orders and timestamps every reference, so you can prove what was sent and when 🧠 The Komms subnet on Bittensor rewards independent operators who index, store, relay and retrieve that history That last part is the shift. Instead of one company paying for all the infrastructure, an open network of operators is incentivized to build and prove it. Validators test their work. Good work gets rewarded. No single company holds the keys, the data or the off switch. The giants own the servers. We're building a network that anyone can help run. ⚡ $TAO $KAS

People and businesses who use Komms will have the added benefits decentralisation gives that other centralised services can’t. Not only will Komms offer a similar experience and tools people are already used to at an extremely affordable price (seriously look at the calculator on Komms.app) but you gain the benefits centralised services can’t offer like real built in protection from data harvesting and far fewer single points of failure. $TAO $KAS

Ever wonder why your team chat bill keeps growing every time someone new joins? Most team tools charge per person, every month. Add a contractor, a part-timer or a client, and the bill goes up. That model comes from how those tools are built: one company runs everything, pays for all of it, and has to recover that cost from every seat. Komms is built differently, and the difference is in the architecture. Instead of one company running every piece of the system, the work is split into jobs and shared across an open network of independent operators. One group handles storage of your encrypted files. Another keeps a tamper-proof record of what was sent and when. Another makes it all searchable. These operators compete to do their job well, so no single company has to build and carry the whole cost of the infrastructure. Two things follow from that. The costs of running the service are lower, and they don't rise with every extra person. That's why we can charge one flat rate for a whole workspace, rather than per head. Your devices also do part of the work. Messages and files are encrypted on your own device, so Komms doesn't need to run a huge system for reading, scanning or analysing your content. We simply can't read your private messages, and we don't mine your data. For a small business, that could mean a building firm adding ten subcontractors for a project, or an agency inviting freelancers and clients, with no extra cost per person. It's free to start, with no card needed. Upgrade a workspace only when you need more speed and storage. $TAO $KAS

This is the drawback of centralised servers and why decentralisation isn’t just a buzz word for us. If your business was using Komms, you would be carrying on business as usual. $TAO $KAS
🚨𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: @Google confirms a major Cloud outage in London On the same morning @Revolut went down 👀 Update on my Revolut post from this morning 👇 Here's what we know now: • Issues in Google Cloud's europe-west2 region started around 07:00 BST • Google says "multiple" Cloud services are suffering network failures • Thousands of Revolut customers reported problems making payments and accessing funds • @LloydsBank, @HSBC, @Barclays and @BankofScotland users are also reporting issues • DPD and Royal Mail are among the other businesses showing up on Downdetector • Budgeting app Emma confirmed it's down because of the Google Cloud outage There's no confirmation yet that Revolut or the other banks are linked to Google Cloud. Emma also made one thing clear: 💬 "This is a technical outage, not a security issue." @HalifaxBank says it's "aware some customers are having issues" with its app and website. It hasn't confirmed whether that's linked to Google Cloud either. Google's latest: 💬 "We are experiencing an issue with multiple services in europe-west2... Our engineering team continues to investigate the issue." It started before most people had their morning coffee. Hours later, Google is still investigating..
