Alarmists: “World on fire!” Reality: By Oct 28, global burned area likely never lower than 2026 Disasters in France, Spain & Canada are tragic—but climate is global. Cherry-picking isn’t science Climate policy does near-nothing for fires We need better fire policy (prescribed burns, let some burn) and better climate info gwis.jrc.ec.europa.eu/apps/g…

Over the last decade hard working Russian farmers have increased food exports by 250% and Russia is now in the World’s top 20 food exporters. All this despite massive sanctions against them. So the man we are told wants to invade Europe and destroy our way of life is actually feeding us while our own politicians in the legacy political parties attack our own farmers and food production. In the UK we produce less than half of the food we consume leaving ourselves vulnerable to food shortages via weather, political or logistical disruption. A vulnerability which was exploited by our enemies in both WWI and WWII. If Russia were planning on WWIII they would be stockpiling food at home not exporting it and feeding those who irresponsibly don’t produce enough food to feed their own population while importing ever more mouths to feed into their countries. The next time you see, hear or read pro-war with Russia propaganda please think about this. #NoFarmersNoFood.

This is fun: One extra CO2 molecule for every 10,000 atmospheric molecules was allegedly powerful enough to prevent an Ice Age, but "that doesn't mean global warming is a good thing". 😄 Seems to me that trying to live in the Chicago area would be a lot more difficult if it was once again covered with thousands of feet of ice.

A £10bn injection to cut fuel duty in the budget could have reduced petrol and diesel prices by 21p a litre for 12 months, reduced inflation and stimulated economic growth in the UK. But the Government sent it to Zelensky instead, who is reported to be ‘delighted’ to receive our money.

Replying to @WMO
Your claim that CO2 "supercharges the ocean and the atmosphere" is fraud. *Please* stop lying.

"Fossil fuels bad?" Fossil fuels were key to saving forests in the United States and Europe. Wood went from providing nearly all primary energy in 1850 to 50 percent in 1920 to 7 percent today.

What was so great about pre-industrial CO2 levels? The Earth supports more life today than at any point in the past 20,000 years.
In 2025, global CO₂ concentration rose to a record 426.8 parts per million. That's 153% of pre-industrial levels. Every additional ppm traps more heat and supercharges the ocean and the atmosphere. 🔗 Read the WMO Greenhouse Gas Bulletin: bit.ly/4iIqwMR

After last year's record ice gain, the surface of the Greenland Ice Sheet is gaining huge amounts of ice again this autumn, including twelve billion tons in one day. This must be very upsetting to climate alarmists. 😃 polarportal.dk/en/greenland/…

The Labour government don’t give a shit about the countryside. A mixture of inverted snobbery against rural communities, rural independent businesses, farmers and landowners and seeing farmland as an asset to dismantle and asset grab for themselves and their net zero and big tech corporation cronies.

Public Accounts Committee today on child benefit fraud - I made the point to the HMRC chief exec that we NEED to see accountability and consequences for the staff who made such a mess of it all. It's straightforward - start sacking the failing civil servants.

Who Broke Britain? White British men did. They were suppose to protect the country but they failed. It is easy to point fingers at others, but it was our responsibility and duty. We were gifted an amazing country, but through incompetency, convenience, and weakness, we allowed it to be destroyed. Shame on us. But we can fix it - that is the good news.

There are not a whole lot of young people in the climate fight. But one that comes to mind is my friend, @anika_climate, who I the pleasure of serving on the youth panel with at the 16th International Conference on Climate Change (ICC16) in April. She has a new book on the climate scare and you can order it here with the presale link! 🔗 amazon.co.uk/dp/1918396493?r…

Welcome to Begging Bowl Britain. Labour used to be the workers' party, now it's the party of scroungers, liars and layabouts. Anything to cling on to power, as we plummet towards third world status...

There were five slave trades. You were taught about only one. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 One. The Atlantic. Twelve million Africans shipped to the Americas. Britain banned it in 1807, then hunted it for sixty years. Two. The Barbary trade. A million Europeans taken to North Africa. Britain bombarded Algiers in 1816. Three. The Saharan trade. A thousand years of caravans north across the desert. Britain had its northern end banned. Tripoli, 1857. Four. The East African trade. Twenty thousand people a year through one customs house. Britain forced the market shut. 5 June 1873. Five. The Ottoman trade. Raiders sold Eastern Europeans south for three hundred years. Britain made the Sultan ban it in 1854. It cost sixty years and two thousand sailors. Nobody else fought all five. 🙏🇬🇧 It isn't over. Mauritania only made it a crime in 2007. Fifty million people are in slavery today. Someone has to remember who started the fight. ⚓🇬🇧💪

Push for reparations and then moan about racism. Such tedious showboating, and we’re all bored of it. It’s been done to death. You’re a British MP. Act like it.
I've received waves of racism & abuse since my #BHM speech. A Shadow Minister referred to my "mates overseas" and told me I should "do one" Who exactly are my mates overseas? 🤔 Today I called out his racially-charged comment. Grateful for Speaker's response 👇🏾

The UK averages 159 rainy days a year and ranks fourth in Europe for rainfall volume. The last major reservoir was finished in 1992. Since 2017, the privatised water companies have sold off at least 35 reservoirs and bulk storage sites. The government have now been warned that “Day Zero” – empty reservoirs – could arrive before Christmas. We are a damp island that somehow managed to privatise the rain, sell off the storage and then act surprised when the taps run dry. The corporations took the infrastructures, paid the dividends and left us with a hosepipe ban and a warning about water rationing at Christmas. And meanwhile, successive governments let this happen while enabling enormous data centres to guzzle up huge amounts of water and energy Yet another example of the UK being turned into a corporation asset grab at the public’s expense. This is not just government negligence. It was a choice.

As Bjorn documents very well here, green energy is not cheap. Furthermore it's unreliable and needs to be backed up. Add on top of that the Ukraine non sense and energy costs go through the roof in Europe. Then people riot as they can make ends meet.
The cheap green lie You are told that solar and wind are cheap But you need near-100% backup when no sun or wind, paying for two systems Data for 2025 shows that cramming in more solar and wind makes electricity overall more and more costly Sources: Electricity prices, households and industry, 2025 iea.org/data-and-statistics/… Solar and wind generation, electricity use and consumption weights iea.org/data-and-statistics/… Solar and wind for countries without IEA 2025 data ember-energy.org/data Electricity trade partners, plus industry prices for Norway, Albania, Iceland and Kosovo ec.europa.eu/eurostat/web/en… US industry price eia.gov/electricity/annual Australia, IEA 2021 prices updated with official price indices abs.gov.au/statistics/econom… South Africa industry price eskom.co.za/wp-content/uploa… Taiwan industry tariff taipower.com.tw Egypt industry tariff egyptera.org/en/TarrifAug202… Tunisia tariffs (archived copy, the STEG site is unreachable) web.archive.org/web/20250614… Azerbaijan industry tariff regulator.gov.az/en/istehlak… 2025 tariff changes applied to IEA 2024 prices Pakistan: nepra.org.pk Thailand: erc.or.th Ghana: purc.com.gh Paraguay: ande.gov.py Kazakhstan: stat.gov.kz/en/industries/ec… GlobalPetrolPrices 2025 averages for 18 countries, read from archived 2025 pages globalpetrolprices.com/elect… web.archive.org Sri Lanka 2025 tariff changes pucsl.gov.lk/end-user-tariff… Indonesia solar and wind estimated from official 2025 capacity esdm.go.id/id/media-center/a… Statista 2025 averages for China, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, Singapore, Peru, Argentina and South Africa (data from GlobalPetrolPrices) statista.com/statistics/1369… (business prices worldwide) statista.com/statistics/1461… (household prices worldwide) statista.com/statistics/1173… (Latin America business) statista.com/statistics/1123… (Latin America households) statista.com/statistics/1373… (China business) statista.com/statistics/1372… (Mexico business) statista.com/statistics/1372… (Mexico households) statista.com/statistics/1617… (South Africa households)
