Texas voter: My hometown is Rockport, Texas. When I wear my Talarico shirt there, I get people stopping me at the stores and telling me they've been Republicans all their life, and they're voting Talarico. They're voting Hinojosa. They're voting Bobby Pulido, because they're tired of the corruption, the lies right now.

Every Texas bar has that one guy.
He’s loud. He’s obnoxious. He makes all the women feel uncomfortable. He adds his drink to your tab when you’re not looking.
That’s Ken Paxton — and I don’t know about y’all, but I’m done picking up his tab.

Chris Hayes asked Ilhan Omar directly if the man she married was her brother and her answer was clear. But the interview took an even more interesting turn when they discussed the investigation into her family.
Omar called the allegation a “disgusting lie” and explained how the claim started with a Somali blog before right-wing conspiracy theorists picked it up.
But Hayes then raised another issue: the investigation had seemingly shifted from her marriage to questions about her late father’s naturalization paperwork.
Omar said the shift was “very convenient” because her father was no longer alive to answer the allegations.
Then Hayes brought up claims about her wealth and her husband’s business, leading Omar to interrupt with a response that caught his attention.
Chris Hayes: The President will casually say something wild about you, like, “Ilhan Omar, she married her brother.” There are right-wing people who believe this man was your brother. Who was this man that was your husband? When did they start saying he was your brother? Why?
Ilhan Omar: It started with a Somali blog. Somebody put in there that he had to have been my brother. Right-wing conspiracy theorists in Minneapolis got a hold of it, and they just kind of found random people who were like, “She introduced us and said he was her brother,” which is insane.
Chris Hayes: You were not related to him at all?
Ilhan Omar: Not at all.
Chris Hayes: That was the big gotcha, right? That was the source of the immigration fraud. That no longer seems to be the issue they are investigating, right? They’ve now moved on to whatever representations your father made in his naturalization process about you.
Ilhan Omar: So, it’s hilarious. But it’s also very convenient because my dad is no longer alive.
Chris Hayes: Because the person who signed the paperwork and did it all is no longer here to answer the charges.
Ilhan Omar: Right, even though they have the papers that he signed. The people who knocked on my door searching for papers literally have his papers. They are the ones who processed us to come to the United States.
Chris Hayes: The President has also said that you have all this money, that you drive a lot of cars, and you have a bunch of houses. They cited a financial disclosure that initially said your husband’s firm was worth $30 million. After an accountant included the liabilities, that brought it down to essentially net zero, $20,000.
Ilhan Omar: He’s not in it anymore!

All joking and tour pranks aside, what better example has there ever been of "it all starts with a song" than this world of music she has built.
But I also stand by the crickets on the tour bus as a legit truly boss prank.

Noah Wyle says Eddie Murphy told him to “fuck off” when he asked for an autograph at 9.
“I met Eddie Murphy once when I was a kid. I asked him for his autograph, and I said, ‘I really like you on SNL.’ He goes, ‘What are you doing up that late?’ And I said, ‘Can I have your autograph?’ He goes, ‘Fuck off, man.’”
“I was 9. Now I always sign an autograph whenever a 9-year-old needs one. I sign that so fast.”
Years later, his daughter turned the story into a birthday gift.
“I’ve told this story in my house, and last year for my birthday, my 10-year-old daughter didn’t know what to get me. So she printed up a picture of Eddie Murphy and wrote, ‘Dear Noah, you’re a great kid, Eddie Murphy.’ She spelled Eddie E-d-d-y, and I have it framed in my office.”
“She came up with the story. She’s like, ‘Dad, you’re never gonna believe who I saw yesterday. Eddie Murphy. And we got what you’ve always wanted, his autograph.’ Then they gave me the gifts. She’s a doll. She’s the best.”

Let Missouri be a red flag for voters everywhere!
On this year's CNBC survey, Missouri ranked as the 4th worst state to live in (beating only 1-Arkansas, 2-Oklahoma, and 3-Alabama).
This is the result of a 2-decades-plus Republican supermajority and a red chokehold on nearly all our statewide offices and congressional seats. Too many people believed too many of their lies.
